Ronoc’s WITB 2019 Setup

Well here it is. My first ever WITB posting. Meant to do this last year but never got around to it not to mention there have been a few changes since then. I’m happy to say the bag is practically complete to start the season. Besides grips and a new ball of choice, there might be one more addition later this year (a new 60* wedge).

 

Bag- Callaway ORG14

 

Ball most commonly used- Callaway SuperSoft

Looking to move to a new ball tia year. Soon to be testing the new Bridgestone e12 Softs in “Alien Green” when they arrive - hopefully this week!

 

Driver- TaylorMade M2 D-Type Stiff at 9.5* /GP MCC+4 Mid-size

 

3-4 FW Cobra F6 at 14.5* draw / KURO KAGE Blacl Graphite Stiff shaft / GP MCC+4 Mid-size

 

4H Callaway Rogue Stiff (stock grip)

 

Irons- 4-AW Callaway Steelhead XRs Stiff

Transitioning the stock grips to new ones this year. If nothing else gets added to the bag, this will be the biggest change this year. Been testing out the 7i with Winn Dri-Tac X (not overly impressed) and the 9i with GP MCC+4 which will probably be the grip I go with for the rest.

 

SW- Callaway X S-grind 56* (stock grip)

 

Putter- Odyssey White Hot RX V-Line Fang (stock grip)

Great looking setup! Personally, I love the feel of the Winn Dri-Tac's, but not  impressed with the durability.

The feel is nice, no doubt about that, especially if you like something softer. I guess that was my issue with it as well, the durability didn't seem that good overall. I have always preferred GP MCC, especially after they added the +4, but i tried the Winn grip as an attempt to broaden my horizons just in case.
