If you use your club's bag room, they'll clean the clubs every time they put them away for you.

Unfortunately the trunk of my car/garage doesn't offer that service. 😂🤣

That was my job in HS and a couple years of college.  It's probably why I am consistently cleaning my own clubs after a round.

On weekends I probably cleaned about 150 sets per day.  Also scrubbed grips or regripped if requested.  Made a lot of money in tips.  Bought my first 'high end' (for HS anyway) stereo from tip money....Onkyo amp, denon turntable, polk speakers....I still have the amp & speakers in the basement work room!

Don't forget to tip your club cleaning kids!  😀

I am in the  hardly ever clean my clubs group. I do wipe them off after every shot while playing but I do not carry a wet towel. I have tried to carry one, but I would forget I had one and only ended up with a wet towel at the end of a round. maybe I'll give it more effort this season and see if I can grove a new habit for the new year.

I clean my grips maybe twice a year.

I won't.

Audio equipment was something we loved as kids back in the sixties.

I've got huge JBLs powered by a Mac MC275 right now, but modern people listen to digital files on their telephones.  Sad.

I "wash" mine at the beginning of the season; basically before I go on my first golf trip which is Myrtle Beach in April. I fill a bucket with warm, soapy water and let the clubs sit then use a nylon brush to clean dirt and grime off the clubs. I also will use a rag to clean/wipe down the grips. Throughout the season I carry a spray bottle filled with dish washing liquid that I try to use during the round but that process can go south based on how I'm playing...😤

I voted for after 2-3 rounds, but if you are talking about the whole treatment, I must admit I only do it about twice per season... I wipe the club clean after every shot, so I don't see the need to do it again after the round.

I clean the grips once per season as well, never had any issues on the course with slippery grips.

The thing is... when I'm cleaning clubs, my son will ask me to clean his... then my daughter will bring her clubs... and my wife will bring hers too... so I gotta hide... lol

I am an every 2-3 rounds guy.  Unless its a really muddy day then I will clean them after that round even if I just did it.  Grips I clean about half way through the year.

Not talking wiping them down on course, but actually cleaning them e.g. soap, water, soft brush? I used to clean mine after every round, now it’s after every 2 or 3 rounds - though I wipe them down thoroughly after every shot, making sure all the grooves are clean for every shot. Spurred by the wedge thread and how crucial grooves are to spin, coupled with about half the guys I play with who almost never clean their clubs! They impart almost no spin, and often hit with “clogged” grooves (WTH?). Their clubs live in their car trunks... 🙄

I probably don’t clean my grips as often as I should…

I'm lucky if my clubs make it to my kitchen sink every 6 months.  In the meantime I wipe them down and use a wire bristle/soft bristle brush.  Like your friends, my clubs live in my car trunk.

I used to race mountain bikes competitively, and wouldn’t think of showing up anyplace without my bike completely clean and lubed. Just maintaining the a bike’s drivetrain alone was way more work than cleaning my clubs. Because of this background I think nothing of scrubbing my clubheads with a brush and some Simple Green before I put the clubs away. I probably clean the grips once every month or two using a bit of dish soap on a brush.

Same here. I clean my road bike monthly (or every 20 to 25 rides) and a mountain or 'cross bike more often. This is especially important to properly wash your drivetrain, as the parts that keep you in motion suffer greatest from abuse and neglect. A grimy chain makes for sloppy shifting and chews through expensive cassette cogs. Gunked-up chainrings slow you down. Cruddy rims and pads erode your braking surface.

Golf is like a love affair!

I always carry a wet towel to clean between shots. Any remaining dirt when I get home gets a toothbrush and water. Simple.
