The Wrath of Khan was my favorite of the Star Trek movies. I was in the Army when it came out and was stationed at Ft. Lewis at the time. The post had several movie theatres. I watched the film at every theatre as it moved from theatre to theatre.

The Khan character by Montalban was pretty good.  I’m not sure how many Star Trek episodes he was in but all I can remember he was really good as Kahn!

Good morning everyone! It's another nice morning here in TN, I think it might be the last four a couple of days as rain is showing up in the forecast. I'm looking forward to the community call this evening since I missed the last one. There's just something nice about getting to talk to all of you.

I'm just taking it easy in my car right now drinking coffee and reading everything that's going on. Jamie, I hope you hit them well today.and I enjoy the eclectic setup of clubs you have going.

Goooood morning everyone. Chilly start to the day but should still be beautiful! Got my clubs in the car and going to hit the range after work, also got a tee time to go play 9 tomorrow after work since I’ll be done a little earlier! Having some coffee and finishing my toast in the car and then heading in to get this day going! Hope everyone has a fantastic day, almost through the week!

Anyone I have seen that has had knee replacement surgery once healed has picked up distance. One of my buds had his left done last year. I played with him in the Shootout Saturday. It had been a year since I had played golf with him. He never could before but he now blows it past me but after all he is 10 years younger than me. I told him I needed to get the number of his Doc and see if he did back replacement. Seriously I am doing great no pain or stiffness in the last 2 months

GM, Happy Thursday.  Nice morning light breeze.  No golf today, SWMBO wants to go to Ocala to pickup a couple craft/paint supplies so off we go later this morning.

You think you are old I remember hanging Cordoba sheet metal on a NASCAR chassis. Back in 78 I was a Nomad. My tool boxes stayed on my truck. I bounced around several Winston Cup teams as extra help. I would work some get some money and play golf either a Mini Series or gamble. This one guy named Ed Negre ( RIP) had a deal with Chrysler and they wanted him to convert one of his cars to Cordoba sheet metal. Now this was in the middle of racing season and him being an independent type racer did not have a big staff. He hired me and another guy to convert a 73 Charger cage and chassis to 78 Cordoba sheet metal. Chrysler paid the bill and we did it in a week. Worked a 75 hr week but we got it done and were paid very well. That car raced the next week at Atlanta. And no it did not have the "fine Corinthian Leather Interior" either

That’s great memory/experience.  Things were very different in the 60’’s & 70’s.
 In 78 we had 2 kids by then and had to try and be a responsible adult.

Likely no golf for me today, with a 7:30 am meeting and work commitments all day long.  I do hope to build my latest Otto-Phlex experimental driver later tonight at least.

2 more 12s until my day off, spending it helping my little brother move into an apartment then cleaning out the garage to finish setting up my golf sim. Have an R10 I was hitting into a net in the yard or at the range, so it'll be nice to set something up in the garage, I'll have my grill right outside the door and spots for mine and my two kids bags when I'm done. 

This is hopefully my last week of 12s before I shift to 4 10s and I don't think anyone is looking forward to it more than my Wife haha. Hoping everyone has a good weekend and gets to hit the course.

Good morning fellow MGS’ers! Going to be a beautiful day here in southwest Wisconsin, with a high of 78 and sunny. Getting out of work early to go golfing with the entire family. Will be the second time our three year old has been out on the course, so it will be fun! 3:40pm CT tee time means I’ll have to miss the community call, but it’s a worthwhile reason! Most likely will not be a score keeping round, as I’ll want to make sure the boys don’t feel rushed and have fun, so just going to get some on course practice. If it’s not too busy, then I may try to keep a score but not too concerned either way. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning MGSpies!  Golf season in full swing here in WNY and feeling the buzz of a good round yesterday evening that while not score wise was anything to brag about, the being outside and the great shots off the club face fill in for scratching that obsession for wanting more.  Coffee in the mug  as the second last workday has started before the PGA HOPE,  PGA Championship, and son's Cleveland Marathon adventure happen all in a row.  PGA HOPE session at Niagara Frontier GC this evening so will be on the Community Call again from somewhere vicinity Niagara Falls and north to the shore of Lake Ontario as the Forum event goes on.  Looking forward to another awesome day and hope it has golf of some kind in it for you too

Good morning! I'm in Menlo Park for a conference. No golf-related activities for me since I am out of town, but at least the venue is gorgeous and Steve Young was the keynote speaker last night (and was fantastic). One guy showed up in a Young Jersey so Steve insisted on signing it.

We are going to a Luke Combs concert in Minneapolis on Saturday! Then on Sunday, we almost always go to a local bar and restaurant in a little town called La Valle, WI, that has THE BEST pizza anywhere around where we live. We typically go with my in-laws and my parents come sometimes, too. My in-laws are good friends with the owners.

Had to stay up late last night doing a project for the big boss of my company last night.  All that means is the coffee this morning is going to be extra, extra strong.

I'm trying to get a tee time at one of the bethpage courses for the weekend, but gosh they just keep those things so booked.
