Good Thursday morning Spies!

Polishing off a breakfast burrito and finishing second cup of coffee as once again I prepare to do battle with the course and my fellow seniors. Should be a pleasant morning as we did receive a little rain last night and the temps have dropped into the mid 70's to start the day and we are only forecast to reach the low 90's this afternoon.

Looking forward to the community later today, maybe someone will let a hint slip about upcoming testing opportunities...  Also drawing for the mid-season VGT tourney.

Everyone have a great day and keep 'em in the fairways and on the greens!

Good morning Guys!

I didn't get out to play last night and really wasn't planning on it but got the grass mowed and also hit some shots out into my field. I also mad up some chicken on the charcoal grill that turned out awesome!

 

It is league night tonight and while I'm not scheduled to play for my team I will be out in case another team is short I can play as a alternate. I will play 9 holes anyway before the league gets started.

Beautiful & warm Central Florida Morning, 78 degrees And muggy for 6:50 tee time. Walking 18 holes this morning! Sipping on thermos of espresso gotta have coffee in morning

Good morning Spies!

Up early to watch The Open this morning. Course seems to be in beautiful shape. Have the YouTubeTV multi-view going for maximum viewing experience. Rooting for Rory, Tommy Lad, Ludvig and Collin to do well this weekend (and Big Cat to make the cut).

Very cool to see another test for the Rapsodo MLM2Pro this morning. Seemed like the first time around yielded positive reviews, so I'm interested to see how these new features can further enhance the experience. Good luck to everyone applying!

Should be able to make the Community Call this afternoon. Luckily work has been fairly low-key this week, which has been a nice break. Hit the range last night and swing continues to feel very solid. Hoping to keep it up into this weekend's rounds.

Well sitting in another airport .. outbound for Omaha .. eventually .. flight got delayed by an hour and a half...

And good morning to you, too!!

The extra time was actually ok as I packed way way too much into my club travel case - had to remove EIGHT pounds of stuff! A lotta extra golf balls included

Looking forward to playing (..ummm: trying to play) these three courses - check them out if you have time... Bayside, Awarii Dunes and Wild Horse (all near Gothenburg NE).

Morning All,

In my class to learn how to access my education and become a real adult I guess. Should be out in time to catch the community call on the way home. I let the intrusive thoughts win and bought the L.A.B. DF 3 yesterday after work. Would have stopped at the range to putt with it on real grass,  it it started pouring and I didn’t have any clothes to change into. So I’ll have to get pics this weekend if it doesn’t rain. I was hitting putts really well in the store with it. So I bought the hunk of metal after trading in my other hunk of metal. Anyway, hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning all, watching the open championship and finishing my second cup of coffee. It's finally cooling off its only going to be in the middle 70s today for our afternoon skins game. It's been way too hot for my liking, we got a little rain yesterday when the cold front came through and it's supposed to be cooler until next Monday. Play well everyone.

Good morning spies! South Carolina has been great so far but really hot and muggy. We went to TopGolf yesterday which was an enjoyable time. We decided to go there instead of actual courses so our wives could enjoy it as well. We are going to the aquarium today and then hitting some downtown shops. Hopefully, taking a nap later in the day as well. For all others, I hope the day is a good one!

I'm in Bethany Beach, DE this week with the wife's family. I played Bear Trap Dunes on Tuesday. Beautiful place. Although with heat index it was over 100° we managed. I hope everyone is having a great week.

Good morning, Spies!!!

Hoping to get some work training stuff done today. It's a free hands-on type lab/training, so we'll see how good it actually is. Hoping it gets done before the community call.

We've had some good rain this week and expecting more over the next week. We'll see what actually gets to us as things can change here over time quite a bit.

Have my iPad playing the Open, so not much other work will get done today and tomorrow.

Good morning! Busy day at work today, but I'm looking forward to getting out this afternoon with a couple of golf buddies for a 9 hole WOLF match! I'm going to try to get everything transferred from my old bag into the new MNML MR1 bag. We'll see how it all fits and works out.

Also, I'm considering trying out the Vice Air balls after reading the MGS article on them. The Vice online ball fitting tool puts me in the Pro Plus, but it's always fun to try something new.

Thanks mi amigo! I have tried the Vice balls, I didn't hit them as well as the Chrome Tours, I do have some Srixons I am taking that I won in a tourney, they're only a two piece but the way my drive has been lately I'm not wanting to lose any $6 dollar balls. I want to try the seed balls but I can't get their website to work for the US. Oh well, Chrome Tour X and ProV1X for me...

I just love the color ways that Vice offers. Makes me want to keep trying their different versions.

@Derek Eskam really likes the red ones. During the Wyoming Open we had him change to them from the ProV1 left dashes because we felt that he plays with them more on a daily basis and I felt he would be more comfortable with a familiar look while he was playing under pressure. I may give them a go again, but I love the CTX so much. I did crush a red Callaway last year just haven't tried them again either.

Good morning MGS’ers and happy Thursday! Busy morning but out early today and maybe will get to take my oldest up to the range before swimming lessons to get some drive, chip and putt practice in. He has his qualifier on Monday which will be super fun. He has his eye on the prize of advancing, but he’s only 7 and in the 7-9 age group so I just want him to enjoy it!

I also received a MNML MR1 golf bag yesterday and I am very excited about it. I haven't had a new golf bag since 2005 and the MR1 is packed with 'tech.' @PrismFlopper - Congrats on the addition to the family! Time flies by, we're currently potty training our youngest and it feels like just yesterday she was born!

@ParFore74x - LOVE the paint fill you put on your Sub70 JB wedges! It looks great! I'm thinking about doing the same, but just with the JB lettering because J & B are my initials! 

@MattWillGolf - Have fun in CA and playing what sounds like some iconic courses! Are you taking Nemo with you?

Happy Almost Friday. I will track the Open Championship from 3 hours further west. After a long and uneventful day of travel, we are waking up in California. The clubs arrived and now I need to inspect them. I bought an AirTag to track them. That did provide a diversion during out travels. I will have catching up to do in this thread. Time for my cuppa.

Good morning MGSpies from an it's almost time for lunch and only just coming up for air to make a post and apparently working too hard workday  in my subterranean workplace on a zero commute day in WNY.  Just too many irons in the notional fire, but I do have a tee time this afternoon so will call into the community call  from the fairway, and hope golf is a part of your day too!
