Well, it's been a year and a half on here and I just realized I never posted an introduction.

 

I live the NW suburbs of the Twin Cities in MN. My home course is The Links at Northfork and I've been golfing for about 25 years.

 

I've really been enjoying the site and sense of camaraderie on this board. Thanks to all the members for making it such a great community.

twincitiesgolf.com is running a couple of tournements in that area....at Bristol Ridge in Hudson and one at The Jewel in Lake City, MN (not sure if that's closer to you) - it's a Hale Irwin track I've always wanted to play. Might be kinda fun --check out their website here

Troy Burne would be fun. I've only played it once, but it was in great shape. Also Saint Croix National is a pretty fun course and not super expensive. I think either would be about an hour and a half drive for me as well.
