Here are some photos of the irons behind the ball. I included my current TS4s as well as a CB 7 iron.

I know that MyGolfSpy doesn't prefer "living room" photos, but today an indoor photo shoot was the best way I could contol the setup and lighting.

I have already noticed a few things just by handling and "waggling" with them, but I'm going to save those statements for my full first impressions post.

Great comparisons! The top line definitely looks different at address. The TS4’s look more butter knifey, but the Haywood’s look very comparable to the Wilson’s. I have to admit that those Haywood’s are looking great!

Awesome to see the clubs arrived safe and sound and appreciate the kind words.

Just wanted to help clarify a couple things as per the video.

The third letter on the box is an R  for Cory (without the E)

The 7 iron didn't have plastic on it because unlike a lot of brands who just glue, cut and send out and/or dropship from asia, we actually touch each club / hand buid every club to our customer specs in Canada. Once in a while the plastic can come off during that process, usually in the bending machine on the rare occasion, so that would be be why the 7 iron didn't have it like the others. Sorry about that.

Look forward to seeing more from your testing!

It looks like the milling stood out to you as well. So in the "looks" department, The milling might be the most impressive and aesthetically pleasing feature of the haywood iron.

They look beautiful! Great unboxing videos! Looks like a couple successful deliveries! Great extra touches with the hat/towel/tees/note! Everything looks quality!

The “misspelling” isn’t a deal breaker and at this point in my life is more of a joke that a slight.

I was truly curious about the 7 iron, and given that they needed to be bent that makes total sense now. Glad it wasn’t a voodoo hex on the 7!!!

I hit the Pw, 9I and 8I into the net this evening. I figured if I'm worried about the muscle backs, let's just hit those first!

You can immediately tell where you hit the ball on the face. I hit a couple thin (and the thin vibrations are very evident that you struck it low and poorly). I hit more than a few fat (and the sole bounce lets you know it, though the face feel wasn't as harsh and left me looking for what groove I actually hit). The ones I hit middle/middle, you know, the ones where you don't even feel the ball and just go "oh yeah...that's it"...those were magical. Note to self...do that more than 50% of the time.

Surprisingly, I didn't really toe any. That's my "the club just twisted horribly in my hands" miss with my Callaway Apex '19s. I kept waiting for it, but didn't get a single bad toe strike this evening.

Blades are a wonderful thing like that. They give immediate feedback for better or worse. 

That said I'm sure with a bit more practice they will fall into a groove!

Wait - isn't your name spelled "Cory"?  That's how it's spelled on the box - it's just a capital "R".  Sing the praises of Haywood - they got it right!

There has been off and on rain in my area for the past 3 days. If it finally stops tomorrow I should be able to form my complete first impressions by Thursday.

I’d be curious to see the difference in specs between the testers current gamers compared to their Haywood’s. things like loft, lie, and if there’s a difference in length.

Right there with you. Been able to hit some in the garage and I am very impressed. Much more to come on that. Hoping that tomorrow through to the end of the week I can get some range in along with some numbers, and if all goes well maybe a round in as well.
