Gonna play again tomorrow but not likely to top my round from Tuesday. My course handicap will only be 2 this time. I’ll still share the details of my escapade just in case I can repeat the exploits from Tuesday. Or, just in case I play really bad and it makes for a great horror story. Putting has really improved since adding 3.0 superstroke fat putter grip, only missed 2 putts under 20 feet.

Hit 15 greens too.

Shot 40/40:80 with 3 Birdies, a Par 3(#8), a Par 4 (# 17) & a Par 5 (#15).

FIR 9/14 64%. GIR 8/18 44% Putts - 31

Plus I was witness to a Par 4 #12 225 yards Albatross! Yes a drive that bounced off the cart path to the green and holed out.

BTW, my course handicap changed from 13 to 11 today.

@GolfSpy_BEN I have a question about entering multiple rounds. I played today, cold, windy and raining. I shot a 74, with 1 birdie and 3 bogies. I had at least a par putt on every hole. My question is, if this was solo, the 74 today beats the 80 on Wednesday. But this is Match Play with a teammate so the 3 birdies may contribute more in spite of the 5 doubles I had. How do you determine which is used?

Ultimately, once your partner has posted you can pick the round that works best in conjunction with his round. @Golf2Much and I would only ask that you try to make that determination as early as you are able, to help limit the number of last minute scores he will have to tabulate.

As @GolfSpy_BEN indicated the earlier you can acknowledge you submitted round the better.  So far, only 40% of the field has submitted a round.  Tomorrow is the Key West St. Patrick's Day bar stroll and let's just say I'll be donning my kilt and appropriate Irish paraphernalia to celebrate.  That leaves Sunday. 

So, the earlier you get your scores in or designate a particular score the better!  Not only do you have a 9PM submission deadline, so do I.   My goal is to have the results to everyone as close to the submission deadline as possible.  With your help, I can do it.  

Best of luck to those who have rounds this weekend!  If you are in the A Flight, I hope you do OK (a little biased as I'm in the A flight against some stiff competition)!

By my unofficial count, there have been 13 1st round scores posted. Leaving 19 still needed. 
 

As a reminder, the thread locks Sunday evening at 9pm. All scores that will be counted must be posted prior to the thread locking. Any competitors that haven’t posted by Sunday at 9pm will be unable to turn in a score and will have to rely on their partner to advance. That being said, good luck and get those scores posted!

The lesson from Jon Sinclair has really helped the long game. After chatting on the Rule of 12 thread last night, I told myself as I approached every green today “Putt when you can, Chip when you can’t, and Pitch when you must.” Today the weather was not good. Rain, cold, wind and had I not been in the running for low score bet I would have quit. 

While these putting numbers look impressive, 1,2,3,4,6,7,11,& 13 combine for perhaps 8’ of total putts. 5 of them I used the putter off the green but they don’t count as putts because it wasn’t a GIR. 
 

These are my best across the board strokes gained numbers since I have been using this app. I’m not exactly sure how it comes up with them, I sort of feel like my short game was better than that, and my approach shots were worse. 

But I’m thrilled with the direction my game is going.

Had to play rounds over 2 days due to weather / schedule (39 on first 9, 42 on second). However, it’s been really exciting to see my new swing changes come along. In addition, I’m starting to really settle into my new driver (10/14 fairways hit), which is really setting me up for success on the course (funny how that works huh? ). Hope I did you proud @Javs!!!

Hey partner nice playing, but what was the tees, slope and rating? Also you are a 15, but only a 6 on this course? They will need all that info to figure out the math.

Sorry @Golf2Much  course was rained out this week and only option was for Sim rounds. 

While things felt good, the scores just didn't end up as well as I was hoping.

18 home course is still closed and 9 open, but packed beyond belief right now. If we make to to round 2 things should be better!
