What shot would you like to have in your bag?

If you could have one shot to add to your golf game what would it be?

Mine would be a 3 wood stinger of the tee( intentional) LOL.

A straight shot with the driver. :D

More serious answer: I'd like to be able to play a 3W off the fairway more consistently. Right now it's a shot I only hit after the phrase, "Oh f*** it, why not?"

LOL That's great Matt. I have never had a problem with a 3w but only because I never hit a driver for the first 10 years that I golfed... Well never hit it well. my buddy's use to call me banana slice.

I would also like to have a consistent stinger. I can generally hit it when I want to, but I don't have the confidence to use it under pressure.

Ya I can hit a 4i stinger pretty consistently but a can't translate it to the 3w go figure. Maybe I should work on a 5w stinger first.

3-wood off the deck. Its probably the biggest limiting factor in my game right now.

High spinning shot from a short sided bunker with a down hill lie. I needed this 4 out of 9 times this morning. And a 20 foot putt that falls in the hole.

I just spent half an hour working on the flop shot. When the wind is blowing the ball up a hill there is no reason to worry about putting.

I would like to be able to hit a more consistent low cut. I can pull it off two out of three times, but I will hit a floater from time to time and it usually screws up the hole pretty badly for me.

I would love to be able to hit a little draw with the longer clubs. I can hit a fade with some control (sometimes I lose control of it, and it goes way right). But I quite often have a long second shot, where a nice little draw that runs out a bit would be very handy.

But for scoring purposes, a reliable bunker shot would be more beneficial. Even if it just gets me on the green, and inside 20 feet.

In my Clicgear B3 cart bag on my Clicgear 3.0 pushcart:

Rocketballz 10.5* stock stiff shaft

Adams Idea A3 Boxer 19*

TMag Rocketbladez 4i-6i

Mizuno MP53 7i-PW

Mizuno MP-R12 52*, MP-T11 56*, MP-T10 60*

Some old Odyssey putter (Don't laugh, it gets the ball in the hole nicely)

Bridgestone E6

Walking on air with my True Tours and Kentwool socks

I was going with the 270 down the middle theme until I saw this one.

That's a ditto for me and you know what they say, "Where two or three of you agree."

So Rickles maybe we'll get our wish this year. Of course they also say the Lord helps those who help themselves and both of us have started a workout program. I'll keep yours in my prayers and would ask that you do the same for me. I feel really great to day - suitably sore rather than aging sore.

Srixon ZX5 MK II  5-GW - UST recoil Dart 65 R flex

India 52,56 (60 pending)  UST recoil 75's R flex

Evon roll ER 5 32 inches

It's our offseason so auditioning candidates - looking for that right mix of low spin long, more spin around the greens - TBD

I am just sore period today. After my work out last night I thought I was gonna lose dinner. Oh well as they say no pain, no gain of yards, or loss of weight! Also consider yourself prayed for.

That horrible flop shot that goes 20 feet up in the air while only going 10 feet forwards AND do it from the rough, short cutt, scraggle grass or bunker.

I hate JUST missing with my irons and being left with that horrible shot to recover with.

I've never ever been able to hit a draw. Ever. I just cannot do it. I've always been a fairly straight ball hitter but can put the right to left movement on the ball (I'm a lefty) if I need to. You could literally lay a $100 bill on the tee box and say it's mine if I drew the ball and you'd be keeping your money.

I guess there's times where I want that shot in my bag, but I'm not so certain. I hear the draw is much harder to control than the fade, but then again, I've never been able to draw the ball so I wouldn't know.

I guess out of sheer want, I'd want the draw in the bag.

I'm also a lefty and had the same goal as you. I worked on it a lot and finally got it(with my irons not my woods) but then I realized that my home course was set up better if you drew the ball ( right hander) fade for us and now I have gone back to hiting a fade. But some times you still need a draw donut nice to have.
