Got Problems?

I don't pay attention to the mail anymore for a couple of reasons - most of my transactions are done on line. But also USPS has an email service now where every morning I get a scan of the each individual piece of mail that's to be delivered that day (except for the junk stuff). Also lets you know if there are packages that'll be delivered as well.

Oh I know, it's mostly junk for us as well.  Except she still insists getting some of her statements via paper.   It was just the first silly thing I could think about as for getting upset.   We guys and them women definitely have different aggravation meters!!

Holy cow that is a bad week. If the tablet is an apple product - did you try 'find my ipad feature? I always end up misplacing my phone around the house - even lost it on the course at one pointbut was able to find it with that feature. Think android has the same? FYI if you can't find it I'd lock it down remotely or certainly change your password on itunes (again assuming apple product).

BTW nice house.

Thanks, roof cane out great.

Unfortunately not an Apple product. The only thing I used it for was mail and some odd documents. Was planning on using it for the Snell ball test.

Kind of a Topper, SWMBO noticed a Black Racer snake circling the Blue Bird house. On my way back from WalMart with “Snake B Gone”. I'd rather use a 9mm but neighbors might not understand.

Why didn't you just pick it up? They aren't venomous and have very tiny itsy bitsy teeny weenie fangs that can draw a little blood. Or use a machete if you have one lying around...

Go easy on the black racer. The word down this way is they keep the venomous snakes away. As in, black racers = no rattlesnakes. Don't know for sure that it's true, but I've heard it many times.

Yes, the black rat snake as we call them actually eat the poisonous snakes, we have copperheads here, and the black snakes keep them away, they also eat rats. So if we have a black snake around we just leave it alone and let it take care of the “problems”

That's what I had been told. We leave the black racers alone for that very reason. I don't like snakes at all, but if they keep the rattlesnakes away, we can coexist.

This Crohn's flare-up is not good. Switched meds, but I seem to be having more problems first thing in the AM than in the past. Affecting my ability to get out of the house in the AM. So sick and tired of this disease... Called a doc in Michigan a friend referred me to, so I may go see him when I can get there for work. Hoping an alternative remedy and a change to my diet can help get me back on-track.

Horrible. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy!

Ever try cannabis? Once you get passed the whole stigma that has been engrained in our heads since we were young, and get into the science behind how our bodies react to it, it's pretty incredible. CBD is 50-state legal and I've been using it to fight inflammation in my neck that gives me insane headaches. It contains no THC so you don't need to worry about getting high or failing a drug test either. In any case, I hope you get better, I have self diagnosed IBS so I know what it's like not being able to leave the house some days because you're stuck on the pot.

I've lived the entirety of my 43 years in the rural south.  Snakes are an everyday occurrence during the warmer months.  Whether your region calls them black snakes, black rat snakes of black racers, leave them alone.  They will be your best protection against venomous breeds.

They are not aggressive by nature and will only strike as a means of last resort.  They will "musk" rather easily, though, when they feel the least bit threatened.  That smell is awful.

Ugh.. Good thing he caught himself before reaching out. That would of been a very bad ending to your trip...

We have Northern Pacific Rattlesnakes here but you have to go into the foothills to run across them. They are rather docile and you rarely hear of anyone being bitten. Other than that we just have garter snakes, gopher snakes and few other non venomous snakes. It is illegal to kill any snake in BC, the hawks and eagles take care of that anyway.

I typically just avoid all snakes. We have cotton mouth moccasins, copperheads, and canebrake rattlesnakes in my area. See the water moccasins on the golf course occasionally.

I'm pretty sure I "musk" too when threatened....usually denoted by an awful smell and browning around the pant seat area.... :D :D
