Got Problems?

Thanks for answering. I'm not 100% sure what we're going to do yet.

I wish you luck.  Erie was quick to point out, we are free to pursue legal action against the other insurance provider and their client but at our expense.

Going completely off the grid seems like more of an acceptable alternative to this bulls*** everyday.

That makes sense from a greedy corporate screw the middle class point of view. Upside down is right! You pay all this money for insurance for years and when it comes time to use it they mess with you. That just isn't right...

Perhaps, one might consider a mutual insurance company, as such the policyholders are the owners.   I would also suggest establishing a good relationship with your broker.   My wife and I have multiple vehicle coverage, homeowners and an umbrella policy with the same company.   The broker makes money just by having us pay the premiums.  Money that I am not sure the brokers are going to want to lose, so they can become your advocate.  Now, I know that most times, one just referred to the claims department, but still communicate with your broker to make sure they know what is happening to you, especially if you are a long term policy holder.

All good suggestions. Our broker just retired 2 years ago and his clients were divided up between new agents so these new agents don't know us personally from the numbers printed on a paper in front of them.

Good suggestion, but .. not sure there are any mutual insurance providers left, outside of USAA*......

I think most of the others Incorporated so they could sell stock to the public, and .. operate as a for-profit enterprise.

I found a list of mutual insurance companies, the following appear to offer personal coverage including auto:

American Family Insurance

Amica Financial

Country Financial

Grange Insurance

Liberty Mutual

Sentry Insurance

State Farm Mutual

But, it does seem that there are not many left offering personal coverage such as auto.

My wife and I have had auto, home and life insurance through the same broker for 22 years.  His wife is my daughters 4th grade teacher currently.  Erie isn't a "mutual" insurer so, that will definitely be something we check into after the holidays.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Watching video from yesterday's range session, my body action on the downswing is so ugly. I have the backswing, loading the right hip, looking good. Top looks great! On the way down, Ugh. Still lots of work to do!

So on Saturday I decided it would be a great idea to play rough touch football. Three days later I still feel like I got thrown down a flight off stairs. I am officially retired!!!

I had a sleeve of 3 balls in my basement for chipping and putting. I brought them up loosely and placed them on the window sill so I could put them in the bag. I come back, and there's only 2 balls.

WHERE DID THE THIRD ONE GO?!?!?!?

I was by myself when it went missing so where the hell could it be. I keep giving my dog accusatory looks to see if he'll spill the truth but so far he hasn't cracked.

Keep an eye on your dog. A few years ago while I was on my hiatus from golf, my dog got ahold of a neighbors golf ball. Ended up getting stuck in his intestines. Anyways, we couldn't afford the $5k surgery so we had to give him up to a rescue. He made it, but we lost our best friend out of the deal.

He's too small to swallow it whole. I definitely have more than one ProV in my shag bag with bite marks in it though.

Not near old enough to be losing him mind already.  I think the dog is one of the very talented devious dogs you see on some you tube video's that loves messing with him.  Maybe he/she doesn't eat it, but is able to knock it off the counter and move it under the couch or something.  Saying, let see you chip that one, wise guy!!

The newest Golf Digest has the Glide 2.0 Stealth in it. Why are these not on the PING website!!??

Golf Digest is famous (infamous) for putting product in it's print issue that hits mailboxes before the actual release/embargo date.  By their next publication it would be "old news" I guess the OEM's must only give them a slap on the wrist, as seems to happen multiple times a year with a new release.

They look really nice in person. Happened to be at a location a week ago that had one for me to look at. Was told no pictures were allowed. I will say the vault 2.0 putters are nice as well. I may actually consider a ping putter especially if the offer a weight kit
