After yesterdays subpar round, I am heading to the range this morning before getting some work done to work on a few things.  Busy weekend on the books but ready to see what we can get done around the house.

Kelly and I drove up to camp last night arriving at 8:30. So nice to have coffee on the lake, even though it is a bit rainy today. I can always hope that the weekend is going to be nice!

Good morning spies!

Headed to the range this morning before work to get some practice in. Playing a round early tomorrow morning and want the swing to be feeling solid beforehand.

Very happy that it's finally Friday and the weekend is fast approaching. Should be a relatively easy workday and a chill evening afterwards with nothing on the agenda.

Another beautiful day here in Chicago. Hoping to watch some more of the Memorial Tournament today while getting some work done.

Good morning Spies on a partly cloudy and cooler Friday morning here.

Already dropped my car off at the glass shop, and hoping to get it back tomorrow.

Today and tomorrow for me will be busy days working at an air base here for an event they put on annually.

Supposed to be cooler the next couple days, with forecast of more rain late tomorrow, but I am hoping that doesn't show up and put a damper on festivities at the base.

Hoping to get golf in on Sunday.

Hope your day and weekend is the best it possibly can be, and that something fun and enjoyable is in your plans!

Yard work for me as well. Drove 3 hours after league to a house I don't own but am the default lawn mower/handyman/caretaker.

Good beautiful morning MGS Nation! An absolutely gorgeous morning here in central Maryland: upper 60's, light breeze, not a cloud in the sky (for now) and low humidity. I should be on the course! But alas, work beckons. Have my appointment at Club Champion to get some numbers for the Spider and the Mamba... very anxious about that! Have tee times set up for both Saturday and Sunday.... so got a weekend full of early golf set up as well! Now just need the weather to hold up.. Yardwork will come after the round on Saturday. 

Hoping that everyone is well: hit 'em straight MGS Nation! Fairways and greens!

Was up at 5 but then went back to sleep until 8!!! Funny how that works for us retired guys Anyway guess the old bod needed a few extra z's.

Resting up before my big 9 hole challenge against my honey later today - we have an ongoing putting contest and for whatever reason she thinks she's gonna best me this afternoon. Well we'll see about that! (..and yes sometimes she does....)

 @EasyPutter, glad to hear the advice is helping and that it continues to help.  @sirchunksalothope you see the same benefits as Derek.   I really need to get out and practice my short game to see if I can make some improvements myself.   
 

still a little worn out from the Kingsmill outing and haven’t picked up a club since we finished.  My Most wanted testing sessions were canceled due to a conflict i had on Monday and unavailability at HQ for the rest of the week.  
 

no golf simply means I have time to work on a project for my daughter.   She bought her first house and will be moving out next month.  My wife found a set of 6 dining room chairs for $50 and they all wobble pretty badly so i have been disassembling them and glueing them back together.  I only have enough bar clamps to do one chair a day. I have completed 2 this week and disassembled the third.   Each chair has its own challenges; the third has dowels that are broken off so I get to do dowel removal.

Good morning Spies! Outside with my cats and a cuppa and was reminded of GF including me in her recent retail therapy.

Contacted one of my three critical patients. No answer by the other two. Will try again. Otherwise largely a study day. Oh and I ordered a new suitcase to replace the one with a missing wheel; should arrive tomorrow before I leave town again.

I think you might just need to go to one handed chipping, you were dialed at the Woods Course on the practice green. Hope you get rested up, it was a draining experience.

Morning spies! Glad.your golf outing went well @Northern Monkey !

It's an on duty weekend,  so no golf for me.

The real kick in the pants is I got a call on the way into work that the PAL (police athletic league) needed a 4th for a charity event and my name came up. Since I'm the only shift Sgt on duty, I had to decline.

Talked to my aunt a short time ago, and apparently my uncle wrote down that I was the only one that he wanted to recieve his motorcycle and gun collection. I'm torn on this, as she could use the money and I know I could get a fair amount for both. But for 50+ years he never owned a car. If he couldn't go somewhere it on the bike, he didn't go.

GOOOOOOOOOOD FRIDAY MORNIN' to y'all. It's a gorgeous day in NE Kansas. As I drove by the golf course this morning on my way to work , I noticed my car pulling HARD to the off ramp. Its 65* absolutely NO wind and it was so hard to not just give in and play hooky. At least I'm gonna go get some range time after work- gotta get ready for the tournament on Monday. It's been almost a year since I've played/practiced. Hope y'all have a great day- nothin but fairways and greens

@Shankster that's too bad .. kinda sounds like it may have been designated as locals only housing? I know all the islands are having issues with that. Good luck on your continuing house hunt! 

@cnosil hope you get some good rest and start feeling better soon; forgot when you said the next step in your bizarre med journey is but really hope it turns into something more positive... And have fun with your chair project (hope your daughter isn't moving too far away from you guys so you can easily visit).

Happy Friday everyone. I've got a busy day ahead of me at work, I need to clear out two offices to prep for a new hire plus an internal move so I wore a t-shirt to the office for the first time in my life  I'll be walking 9 later today since I had to postpone my Wednesday round, fingers crossed the pop up storms predicted don't show up while I'm out there. Good morning! Had a lot of fun out on the golf course with my daughter yesterday. Her first swing she hit the ball about 8 inches. So I told her to try again. This time she just bumped the ball off tee as she was getting set up and she lost it. She was giggling for the next 30-60 seconds without breathing. That kind of summarizes how the whole day went.  I played pretty well between the giggles and shot my best score of the year so far with a +2, 36. 

Today there's a very small chance I can get out for 9 holes, but I have a lot of work to do before I could possibly make that happen.

It's gotten to be a ridiculous thing within the whole family and entirely frustrating for me to see from my perspective because it's gotten to the point where my wife's birth mother is trying to guilt my wife about the situation, she has sent my wife's brother to complain about the fact that I blocked her from talking to my wife, etc. When you act like a selfish jerk during a situation like this, I have no qualms with removing the cause of the problem from my circle. I mean, I've never gotten along with her birth mother even from before we were married, but I had been civil at least. Can't say I'm extending the same grace anymore.

Family squabbles are the worst. I've had a few with my in-laws and my brothers in the past. It sucks to have to get in the middle, but sometimes a time out from each other to reflect is what's needed. I wish you and your family the best and hope it all gets sorted out soon!

Good morning! Workout completed, PM work started, and three cups down (didn't sleep very well). I'm excited to report that I have a lot more golf than usual for this time of year in my very near future. Playing 18 today, 18 tomorrow, 18 on Tuesday, and 18 on Thursday of next week. Hopefully the FFG for the last 12 weeks has been paying off and I'll breeze through it all with zero fatigue! I hope everyone has a superb Friday - go get you some and make it great!

Looks like, reading some threads on the GMT, that June 7th is "get out and work on our game" day...

Nice to hear the spy's are getting off the couch and getting some work in on the course, well done...

I am hopeful my Takomo package arrives today, I would love to game them starting monday.
