Good round, haven't played this course in over a year because I only get to play it on vacation to St. George. It was pretty windy and they had a couple of pin locations that I thought were a little tough, but overall it was a good round. I had 2 tap in birdies and rolled in a 30 footer as well, so it was a fun round. And, I beat my dad and grandpa, which makes it even better!

Drove the green on hole 14. It was playing 342 from the tees and I was on the green in the back about 15 feet away. Two putts for Birdie! The wind was pretty crazy (20 mph with 40mph gusts) and the new tees really threw me off. However, it was a fun round and I finished with 29 putts for the entire round (3 less than the tour average)! Really happy with how I played although I was so much over par. Took a ton of notes and I have a lot to work on with my tee/approach shots.

Any details on this?? This feels like a pretty incredible accomplishment - shooting 90 on a course with your handicap of 31! Congrats! Also, if you want to post your scorecard, that would help, as it seems like you definitely have a whole boatload of net birdies (at least, if I'm doing my math correctly) - happy to help out if you're not sure how to calculate.

 @GTI07 It appears you may have typo'd the handicap... Maybe should be a 21 instead of 31??    Let me know GT and I can help you edit/correct it.  Welcome to the forum and the VCT by the way.  Happy to have you here!!

I went off the rating I had available, and adjust my handicap as such (16->11). Because that is what I figured should happen from the rating you mention.

Combined nines from weekly Tuesday night league play. I'm hitting my driver well and keeping the ball in play. I hit 10 of 14 fairways. Only 1-3 putt. 31 putts total

The best consecutive weekly scores I've had in the 4 years in the league.

I won both matches.

Started birdie par,  then decided to find every fairway and green side bunker.  Wind didn’t help .  Very mediocre bunker player and being in 8 for the day didn’t help.  Montgomery is very challenging course. Position off the tee is critical and I had a bunker to fly on way to many holes

First round with the Cobra clubs - all-in-all, incredibly impressed with the whole bag.  

Based on my Arccos, my biggest struggle was approach shots, which makes sense given the newness of these clubs.  Unsung heroes were my wedges - these things stopped on a dime when I wanted them to!  Looking forward to getting these out again on the course soon!

9/14 fw hit, 7/18 gir 45-43 for +17 score of 88. 33 putts is about my average but I had 3 bad 3 putts so I made some long ones along the way. 

The missed FWs were very punitive, a double and a triple coming on holes I missed right off the tee.

Hazy smoke made seeing the ball land an adventure.

Nice day-not too hot! Best round in a long time. However, played from senior tees because others in group did. Other than a couple driving errors, most good. 
approaches better than usual and putting consistent- only one 3 putt-yeah! Must say fairways were mostly pretty generous. But course was in good shape, bent grass fairways- true rolling greens. More expensive than most courses I play but worth it once in awhile!

Combining league night with a round at an executive 9. Shot well tonight, won my match 6-3. Bonehead double from 50 yards out in 2 on a par 5 followed up by a nice chip-in birdie on the next. A bit of a roller coaster.

Driver was erratic directly costing me 5 strokes. Back to the range! I've been working on distance and that has come around. Now I need to groove the swing changes to see if I can hit some more fairways while keeping most of my distance gains. Also, firm fairways can make you feel good about driving distances, as everyone in my group would attest to after Tuesday's round.

Another solid round, missed on a couple of decent birdie putts under 15 feet. Had a 360 lip out on one that really hurt, so the score could have been even better. I have a 3 day junior tournament at this course next week and my prep is going great. My goal is to be at -5 over the 3 days and I think that will give me a good chance at winning it all. Love my new Rogue ST Pros, they are sweet!

No problem.  so just a few questions at Ste. Elena.. which course and which tees (color) did you play.  Looks like there are a few different courses offered there and different tee options.  That would play a factor into the rating and slope.

Looks like your calculator is accurate based on the Course Rating and Slope Rating for the Makiling course from the tips (Gold tees).  If that all matches... then yes... you are a 31 on that course.  Really tough track it appears!

I found the error  Played the blue tees on Makiling. Got a course rating of 27. Will edit the scorecard.
