Nicely done, teammate! I'll have my round in either tomorrow or Sunday. I'm going with 19° UW, 7 iron, PW, and 57° and will report back with pics and my score!

First round this week and used a new to me Callaway Para/Dym driver.

Did not take it and practice beforehand, so had no expectations, and it showed.

Only hit 2 of 7 fairways on the front 9, misses were more left hooks, and although not in the fairway, only one left me in a bad position for next shot.

Driver was more in control on the back 9, as I managed 5 of 7 fairways.

Longest drive was 255, which is a little shorter than typical, but with time and some practice it may get better.

Next round scheduled for Sunday, so I may head to the range tomorrow to get some additional practice in.

First time on this nice course. Had the first tee-time and played solo due to rain. I knew that starting with a birdie on the 1st hole announced an odd round. Indeed, had everything: A top, a shank, a chunk, slices, punches from underneath trees more than I can count, darts less than 1’ from the cup, birdie putts from 40’ that horseshoed out. My score could have been wayyy worst so I am happy!

Only the second time at this course.  They claim the longest hole in Oregon, a 646 par 5 with water bisecting the center.  Needless to say I didn't score very well on that one, especially with a mis-hit off the tee.  Still, it was an improvement over my last round.

Struggled my way around a tough Jack Nicklaus track but had a great day with good weather and good golf partners.  Couldn't seem to hit the middle of the club face and my consistent face got mixed in with a nasty roll-over-top hook. Putted OK but started with 2 monster first putts on 1 and 2 and collected 2 three putts to start the round.

This is my first posted round with GolfShot. I downloaded it Wednesday, and the jury is still out on it. 

The past few weeks I have been playing horribly. Wednesday, I shot 91. Yesterday, I shot 49 on the front and decided to change my swing to the single plane swing on hole 10. I made a birdie and shot 39 on the back. 

Today, I stuck with the single plane swing. I didn’t drive the ball that well. I had 4 penalty shots, but the 58° wedge and putter spectacular. Especially the wedge. 14 pitches to inside 15’. The four putts I missed were lip outs.

The double bogey was shear stupidity. I was blocked by a tree, and there was no reason for me to cut a 3 wood around it into the wind over water. I could have easily hit an 8 over the tree and laid up. Based on my short game today, I probably would have gotten a par. 

I did stop by the range today afterwards and discovered a flaw in my driver ball position so hopefully that will solve the problem there.

I am away for training with the military and we had one free day and thankfully I brought my clubs and was able to get out on the course that is on base. It wasn't the best but had some fun shots and beautiful scenery. I would definitely play it again if I am in the area again.

First time playing this course. It was a lot of fun, got a few things back in order. I had 4 drives over 345 today which was nice. It felt like the new shaft finally broke in, had a 3w uphill from 285ish and put that on the back of the green. There was a 248 yrd par 3 that I got my hybrid to 22' with, I was really pumped about that. Just a nice little course in a small town. Putter was trouble today lol had 3 chips lip out for birdies. Played really solid.

Oh and an army of crickets here, thousands. You would drive and they would just create this cloud of insects in front of you. Kind of funny to watch them jump out of the way as your putt would roll towards them! Great round with @Itzpiiz and @LBee

It is a gamble on that hole because it is tight and there is heather on both sides of the fairway. Yikes my short game was bad today, but the wind was at my back on 3 par 4’s and a par 5. So I went ahead and I let it rip and ended up with some crazy numbers! 376, 370 and 358 and an OB long that likely traveled at least 340. Weird day, but I’m happy to see the training and coaching is paying off big time with the driver! A year ago I topped out at 280-290 now I can reach FAR beyond that.
 

Now if I could get the wedges and putter going at the same time…

Got to love when wind is on your side!!! Great drives!!

First time I've felt like my pre-injury self in a long time. Started out really strong. Found out I'm going back to The Masters at the turn, don't know if that's what derailed me or fatigue, but two doubles on the back killed me. This is my home course and sets up well for this 4 club challenge, but either way it felt good to play well again. Hope I was worthy to be your partner @CFreddie!
