Man what a crazy round.  I couldn't hit my driver at all.  Started playing iron off the tee.  Only hit 3 fairways but managed to have 4 gross pars in the round.  Had a 30 ft birdie put on 18 (after my one good driver) that did a 360 on the lip of the cup and came out. 

Lost the feel on my wedge for 2 holes then it came back.  Take away the two 9's and 3 8's and I played pretty good.  Regardless I was playing with 3 really great friends and that made it so much more fun!  On to next week for a round in Las Vegas!  Wish me luck!

This round was a tourney for a work event, this course is always stunning and putting here is always tricky at best. 

Ended up winning two rounds to Talking Rock in Chase, BC for the longest drive on hole 5.

Went ahead and posted the info. I deleted the round from my GolfShot App and hopefully my memory soon. 

My back was sore yesterday morning and contributed greatly to my very poor ball striking. Shortly after I posted these rounds I went to bed. I’m still there. I’m done with golf for the weekend, perhaps the week, and maybe longer. I can at least move around now, but that was questionable last night. Also, I should probably not drive based on the amount of drugs I have taken. 
 

I should say, I’m better now, and the real reason I may miss a week is because my wifey may not let me go out and play with all my little friends.

By far the best start to a round I've ever had - birdie putts on 6 of the first 7 holes (greens were FIRE fast, so ... a little embarrassed I didn't convert any of those, but (shrug) it is what it is), +1 through 7.  And then hole #8, where everything went to hell, lol.  Had a few good holes on the back, but the green speed got in my head and I couldn't get it close (kept crushing it past the hole), so had 3 3-putts on the back.  I won't say I got spooked by how well I was playing, but....I might have gotten spooked at the number I was putting up, lol.

Anyway, I'm playing again this Friday, so still hopeful I can make more use of my partner's ( @EasyPutter ) INSANE round to start these Ryder Cup matches with a bang

Had a great round, putting really took a while to come on, but @Itzpiiz and I were playing after the men's amateur open and the pin locations were bananas. 

Played with a cool older group of guys, Rick and Dave, couple old stoners! They played really well for being in their early 70's!

Driver was great all day, first round walking in a while and I was pretty gassed coming down the last 4-5 holes. Highlight hole was a par 5, hit my drive down the right side on 9 and hammered a flush 7 iron and hit the stick for albatross, eagle putt from 10-11', just miss.

Got rained on pretty good. Cut my drive on #12 two days in a row over into the berms and the cart path area way right of the fairway. Those were the only cut drives I had all weekend

I feel pretty good about this round, though there were many mistakes.  Tough week with poor sleep, overworked spouse, end of day care and start of high school.  Practically no warmup as I got a late start out the door, had to help oldest cook a ribeye.  After the 4th hole I got my swing groove back in action.  Best day of the week to get out though after the rains.  A bit muggy to start, but once the breeze picked up it was super pleasant!

Had three total whiffs.   One is semi-excusable as it was in some deep rough behind a tree.  The other two were just amateur.   Had trouble getting out of the traps on #5, there were actually three shots in sand before getting on the green on the 4th stroke.   

Putting was tough, but it's a new course and these greens actually had some break to them compared to most of the courses around here.  I'll tighten that up and hopefully get under 40 next time.  

One of the drops was an unfortunate water ball off of a great drive.  It was just *a bit* left but out straight just left of my target line.  I was aimed slightly left of center due to my tendency to fade the longer clubs, but pulled it slightly.  It hit fairway, then continued straight to the pond.  Will approach that tee differently next time around.

As of this round, 80% of my index scores are in the top half.  I'd say that means improvement.

This score was recorded wrong. The gross strokes over par is wrong, throwing the net score off.
