How many putters do you currently have in your storage area?

 i think we have discussed this at some point but I just saw a post by @GolfSpy BOS that he is going to fool around with a new to him putter this winter. 

I have heard folks discuss how many putters they have "just in case".

So I am wondering how many putters spy's have.

I have my gamer - a custom fit Edel. Then I have 1 backup if I get in a slump or need a new look with different alignment. Shockingly, it usually reinforces that the properly fit putter performs better and I need to work on setup and fundamentals if I am having trouble aiming and making short putts with the Edel. Their weighting always seems to produce the best distance control and least 3 putts. 

I used to keep 2 backups, but 1 was more sentimental as I had sub-30 putts with it. Eventually gave up the dream and sold it off (was a cheap TM).

I used to have more but I typically trade them to get different ones.   I currently have. 10.

I only have two in storage in my garage but I am starting to get the itch to buy putters which is really odd for me

sometimes just a different look is good for a bit eh?

are the ones in the storage the same style, or toe hang, face balanced etc?

This is the most recent pic of my stash, minus the Phantom, that will most likely never get played again due to the Link in the bag. I can't bring myself to get rid of any of them, for whatever reason. They're pretty much just eye candy in my office now.

and all pointed the wrong way lol... I see lots of toe balanced putters there, one face balanced? nice display unit by the way... what are you gaming now?

I currently have 3 putters, although let's face it, this will likely grown.

1. Original gamer of 20+ years - Carbite Golf DD, Plumber's Neck, 35"
2. Current gamer - Sub70 002 Mid Mallet, Plumber's Neck, 35"
3. Currently Testing - LAB Golf DF2.1, 35", 71* Lie (got from the outlet also on sale at Christmas)

We'll see how the LAB works for me once I can get on some greens as I don't have any putting mat at home.

Lol, no no no.. they're all pointed the good way 

My current gamer is the LAB Link.1 and I don't see anything ever taking its spot. I am tempted to try out one of LAB's mallet putters so I can really experience the tech, but we'll see. I used to be quite the putter ho, constantly switching throughout the season for no good reason.

I have a total of 4 putters. I sold a bunch of putters last year but I kept my first and second putters; a Bulls Eye and a Ping Anser.  Both of these date back to the 80’s.  My main putters are an Odyssey Dual Force Rossie 2 and a Rife 2-Bar Hybrid. Over the years I have tried several but they never worked well for me.

I have two, my Sub 70 Sycamore 009 Mini mallet and a Cobra blade w/ Sik face.

Definitely a different feel between the two. I seem to perform better with the mallet, but I aspire to play a blade haha. Have much fewer reps with the blade admittedly.

Once the new DF3 becomes available in broomstick, the collection may reach 2 and that's only because I haven't ever used a broomstick and want to try it.

what is that front/bottom one with the site dot? High toe, flow neck blades with dots are my jam...currently trying to justify pulling the trigger on a Lajosi that kinda looks like this one

I had 6 putters in the rotation until May 2023. Until then I would generally take 2 or 3 putters to the practice green before the round and figure out which worked better that day. 

Then the LAB Directed Force DF2.1 arrived. 
 

Since then none of these 6 putters have left the house and the next time they leave they will be on their way to someone else. LAB only for me from now on.

There are a few older Scotty’s and some old Ping putters in there. I have a few pre Titleist putters that Cameron did for Ray Cook. My guess would be one of the Pings are the oldest putters. I have a few 8802 style putters that are in there now that are pretty old as well.

Inherited several of these from a friend of mine and have not even given them a roll. Guess I have to give one a try.

I haven't had many putters since I took up golf in 1991.  Only 4 putters in storage; one is a Nike Method Converge putter I tested for the Forum in 2015.  Gave it to my wife who used it for a few years before switching to a cut-down Cleveland Belly putter I made for her a couple of years ago.  

My wife also has 4 Slotline putters and her grandfather's Otey Crisman hickory shafted putter in storage.
