Installed new Best Grip on my driver! Excellent Grip.

Recently ordered a couple the leather Best Grips (the Masters green/yellow version) . 

 

Installed one of them on my driver this weekend.

 

The installation was pretty straight forward (I have been doing my own grips for years).

 

The only note I will make is that compared to putting on other grips (mainly Winn grips), these don't expand as much using air to slide on. Just needed to make sure I had enough liquid on the grip to slide on.

 

This weekend I had a practice and lesson with my instructor.

 

The feel of the Best Grip leather is wonderful. I am impressed with how tacky the grip feels without being overly so. 

 

The size also seems to be perfect.

 

While I haven't tried it on the course, I can imagine putting these grips on the rest of my clubs.

 

By the way....the green and yellow on the grip really match my TM RBZ driver shaft.

Yes, I have these on all my clubs now also.  Awesome.  And the only thing better than the Major Leaguer I have on my putter is the new and improved one that Zach has on his putter.  The new MLB grip is even better than the old.  But I have the Micro perfs on the rest of the clubs.

I've got a few now, and they always catch a lot of attention at golf shops! I would love to eventually get the irons done up. Right now I just have the microperf on the driver and fairway, as well as a major leaguer on the putter.

I have had mine for 5 - 6 months and they are great, however, they are starting to get dirty.  I am told they clean up with alcohol, and I admit they don't look as dirty when I drink, it does not seem to matter how much alcohol I consume, they look dirty the next time.

Different kind of alcohol. The kind you shouldn't drink.
