Well, after hemming and hawing, I've finally taken advantage of the Pure Grips going out of business sale. Picked up 26 Red Midsize DTXs and 2 Red Midsize Pistols. In total the 350 dollars worth of grips cost me a cool 132 and we're set on grips for about the next 4 or so years.

You notice any difference with the yellow balls vs white? I was kind of surprised to see the spin differences in the ball test that MGS published today, with yellow ProV1s spinning significantly less than white ones.

New shaft installed, new grip thrown on and looks great just in time for Halloween. 

Hit it a few times on Rapsodo and it does feel heavier and spin rates were silly low, however I need to see more on course or range flights to get a slightly better idea. Love the Rapsodo, but still feel ball speed and swing speed may be a shade slow... or maybe I am just getting old.

I just bought 3 dozen of Tour S but have never tried the white version to compare. Currently still using the Bridgestone BXS in yellow that I had in my bag still untl the Titleist tester balls get here. In the Bridgestones I tried all of the tour models and the BRXS and BXS were the best for me and I had some white to start but just have a hard time seeing in a bright sky in flight and the yellow Bridgestones really stood out. I honestly believe the yellow Bridgestones have more bite around the grain for me than the white, I could be wrong, it could be specific to my game or it may be brand specific.

That is slick looking with the Paradym head!  Can't wait to hear how it plays.

Love that shaft.  That Tour AD really works well for me.  Use a 6S though. I have to go and try find that grip.  It looks great with the shaft.  

Hope you get similar results on the course.

Would have preferred the 6S, but I'm trying something a little different with this. We will see how it works.

Not surprised to be honest. The two closest to me are the busiest courses on all of Europe. I'll check again in the morning and maybe someone cancels and I can hop on.

The third isn't much further away, but the swiss am tour Finals are being held there. 

Just means I'll post my first Rapsodo round ok the VCT instead!

Given your swing speed, I think 6x will work better for you.  I am around 95-100 mph swing speed.

Since other threads are suggesting you are a Bot... I am sure it will fly 325 yards with minimal effort!   Hopefully I can join on Thursday to hear how the Tour AD flies.

I guess I am fortunate to be out away from the Austin courses and in my own little world because I hardly ever have people in front of me during the week.  I can finish a round in 2hrs or so most days.  Granted a handful of our greens are terrible but weekends are the only time it's super busy and I'll just wait until late afternoon to play those days.

Haven't had a chance to play them yet, between weather and schedule. I'll try and update if I'm able to get out however odds are it'll be cold and windy so probably not the best conditions to judge a new ball.

I received my new PXG driver that will replace my PXG 0811 XF 12* with Project X Evenflo Riptide CB shaft, 40 gram Regular Flex 5.0.  I got a PXG 0311 XF 10.5* with a Project X Cypher shaft, 40 gram Senior Flex(5.0). The adjustment period is moving from a 12* to a 10.5* face. My drives are longer but much lower. Any suggestions?

It has two "+" symbols once you unscrew the head that will add loft but will close the face some.

... It will be an adjustment but something most seniors should be doing anyway. Move the ball position a little more forward but not past your front toe and tee it higher for a positive AOA and more carry.

2023 is the year of trying new golf balls.  Some of which were based on strange circumstances.  At the start of the year I got into OnCore balls.  I tried Elixr (2020 and 2022 models), Avanti 55 and Vero X1 and X2 models.  Why OnCore?  Being born, raised and had my career in Rochester, New York, I had to support my Western New York business.  I broke 80 with both the Avanti 55 and Elixr 2020.  Then it was Snell Golf MTB Prime.  Why Snell?  Great reviews and Dean Snell graduated from the same university (U Mass Lowell) and engineering program (Plastics Engineering) two years after me.  My most recent purchase was Maxfli Tour S balls.  Why Maxfli?  MGS discount of course!  It was a great deal that I couldn't pass up.  I picked up two dozen of the white and two dozen of the yellow Tour S balls.  If you throw in a couple of dozen of Srixon Q Star Tour Divides and I currently have the highest inventory of new golf balls I've ever had in my life:  10 dozen.   Given I don't loose too many golf balls, I figure I may already have enough to last me through 2024!

My Callaway Retro headcovers were starting to fall apart. I had been eyeing a few different companies all summer, but Cayce Golf's sale on the GOAT (tiger striped) headcover did me in. I have GOAT coming for the driver, Jazz Cup for the fairway and Dumpster Fire for the hybrid.

Dumpster Fire more adequately describes my driver than hybrid, but it's a phrase I use a lot both to describe things at work and in my golf game! Fits me perfectly.

Just picked up the Dumpster Fire one for my 3-wood, and a GOAT fairway cover as a Christmas gift for my brother-in-law. Really impressed with the quality of the Cayce stuff (plus it goes on and off so much easier than the stock Cobra offerings).

Glad to hear the quality is good. I'm kind of particular about things matching so while I did not order the same print on all three, hopefully having the same brand and type of headcover will match enough!

Here once again. Callaway Preowned is selling the all titanium Great Big Bertha 7 woods new for $150 w headcover. I hit these at golf galaxy and found them amazingly easy to hit and long but they were like $500 at the time. Only thing is hard to find stiff shafts with this series as its very lightweight but thats fine, I just installed my own as I had a HZDUS black RDX 6.0 and a Diamina 'ahina. Put on the rdx and my god is this the easiest club I ever hit from fairway. Also brought it down to 20 degrees and with the lower launch shaft, its a super easy 225 yards, 20 yards longer than my previous 7 wood. If you are a senior or slower swing speed, I highly recommend these with the stock helium shafts at the price callaway preowned is selling them for. Driver too.  So light and easy to launch.

My second buy was a king tec 5 hybrid with MMT stiff that I got from Proclubs on ebay for $65 new w headcover. They have a bunch so check them out. I tend to pull hybrids but this thing is dead straight with weight in toe. Gaps with the 7 wood well at about 200. Only had a couple rounds with it but every shot I had with it was solid making me more confident with my hybrids again

I have a Callaway adapter coming for the Ventus TR Red shaft, so that I can give it a try with the Paradym TD I picked up last Friday. I am low key excited to see how they perform together. Could be magical.

... This is what I love about MGS. I think we all know every major OEM makes a great driver. I demo'ed the Stealth2, Titleist D2/D3, hit the Aerojet and had a session with the Paradym. To be fair my back was stiff and it was freezing (ya know, 60* ) but I didn't like anything about the Paradym. The look, the feel and the performance were by far the worst of the bunch for me. Yet I know people that felt the exact opposite with the Paradym being their favorite and performing the best for them. 

... The more reviews we get to read the better informed we are. I love my Stealth2 with a Ventus Velo Red. So Ben, I hope your Paradym and Ventus TR Red are MAGICAL!!!
