Omelettes with Shankster

So every weekend for the past 2 years I make at least one omelette. Pretty much the same thing every time. My wife hates tacos (who hates tacos) so I make myself a taco omelette instead.

 

1. Ham / Bacon

 

2. Jalapeño

 

3. Onion

 

4. Red / Green Bell

 

5. Serrano Pepper

 

6. Cilantro

 

7. Radish

 

8. And mix in a few in season vegetables

 

But today I didn't have any cilantro, and I wasn't paying attention, chopped up an entire jalapeño and didn't seed it. First bite was a mighty surprise.

When the kids are home I usually make really thin pancakes (not crepes, that would be un-American) - but you've got me omelet-inspired!

It's too dang cold where I'm at. Oh you meant the peppers. Yeah. I like em' spicy, just not that early in the am.

 

I work on boats for a living. I'll be on a surfboard at MOST... I really like land, makes me feel safe, and stable footed. Plus BOAT stands for Bet On Another Thousand, that'd be cutting into my golf funds.

Morning everyone. Question of the day.

 

Are you one of the 500,000 people glued to a screen to watch a giraffe give birth?

 

I'm going to change this up after the replies. I'll be back once a week to post up some health and wellness stuff. I'm not a personal trainer, but I do a lot of body weight exercise and stretches. And we recently started some new diet my wife found or made up, one or the other.

 

Open to any suggestions.

Cilantro from the garden. I would like to say I harvested it with the wedge, but unfortunately I didn't. Good idea though. I might give it a go.

Used to make omelettes for my daughters in weekends when they were young (35-40 years ago) and it's one of the things they bring up once in a while. Shankster enjoy it.

Breakfast is by far my favorite meal

 

I make an omelette almost every single day. I am a firm believe that the egg should only be in the pan for 15 seconds max. The egg gets super light and fluffy that way. Cook it too long and your egg is leathery.

 

Learned the technique from Julia Child.

I learned from my dad. He would experiment like, hot pastrami & cheddar omelette.

If they don't fit your game, at least you have some really beautiful $1100 garden tools!

That's how I get my tomato stakes, any club that doesn't work cut off the head & grip and stick it in the ground! Perfect tomato vines!

Do you notice if any particular manufacturer's shaft is better for growing tomatoes? Does shaft flex have any effect?
