Hey everyone! My name is Craig, and I am from Lexington, Kentucky. I'm new to MGS after having followed for a few months on Instagram. Having never viewed the forums before signing up, I have got to say that this place is great so far. I love reading all of the product reviews, tips, and other stories. It's great for me since I'm just getting into playing more golf than I ever have and am trying to get better at it.

 

I've been playing golf sporadically since I was about 8 years old. My family belongs to a country club, so I was able to take lessons. As a child though, I always enjoyed the pool more than the opportunities to get out on the golf course. Off and on through high school and college, I'd get out to play with friends but never bothered to keep it up or improve.  I've played more this spring and summer than I have throughout my life, playing the local municipal courses and a few private ones. I started out hitting around 130, took some lessons, joined a driving range, went to my first PGA event (mainly to see how the pros warm-up and practice), watch videos online, finally accepted pointers from my father, and hit below 100 for the first time in my life. In short, it's been great. I'm an architect, and I spend almost every day inside sitting at a computer, but I've always loved being outdoors, and playing golf has brought that opportunity back.

 

I've enjoyed the forums so far, and am looking forward to continuing to read them and being engaged in the discussions!
