Dang. Glad to hear you’re ok. Or at least as ok as you can be. Hoping for a speedy recovery so you can get back out on the course soon.

We made it home after the vet appointment and they believe it's just a fatty tumor. They did do some senior blood work and have her a shot for her seizures. She had two of them, one when we left the house and the other when we arrived at the vet. They believe she might have epilepsy and her seizures are caused when she gets over stimulated. 

Right now we're having to keep an eye on her because due to the shot and the seizures she isn't jumping too well and we have to make sure she isn't jumping on and off the couch. 

Hopefully she'll settle in a bit and I'm glad to hear it wasn't cancer.

Sorry to hear about your dog. I can relate, our old dog is on 2 different seizure meds. Thankfully they have diminished greatly since adding the second med. It’s so tough watching them go through it. Give her a “boop” for me and an extra treat or two.

I think I can do that. She's finally settled down and is snuggled up between me and my wife. I hated seeing her seize, it broke my heart. She wandered around the room we were in for a while whimpering which also broke my heart. 

I'm glad to hear that the second medication is helping your dog. Hopefully you won't have as many occurrences.

While watching the seizures is hard, the wandering around so shakily, appearing lost and confused is so heartbreaking.

I totally agree, it was saddening to see her wandering aimlessly around the room. The vet came in and told us they go completely blind for a while afterward. I hated seeing that because it's not like you can explain what is going on to them.

@sirchunksalot really hope pup pup gets stabilized on the meds. Yeah it is heartbreaking when you see them hurting, and they can't tell you what's wrong .. and they're looking at you to make them feel better...

@MattWillGolf and @GolfSpy_BEN .. also very sad when your fur baby gets old.... Heartbreaking. Just keep doing what you're doing = love and treats and keep them comfortable...

@Kenny B Glad to hear you made it through and wish you a speedy recovery, and @sirchunksalot sorry to hear about your dog and hope they find something to help with the seizures.

Had the first night of cross country skiing league for the kids last night and boy was it a cold one. Was in the 20s but wind was whipping make it feel like 10 with no sun by the end. When we were moving it was ok but as the adults had to start standing around more boy was it cold. It was good though my girls are a bit too young so they go out there, and it was the first time for my 2 year old daughter but she hopped right on some little skis and had a blast. It was so cure to see here out there while so little.

Another cold start here, but looking like snow on Sunday! Hoping for a nice base layer out there. The made snow is OK but nothing beats the real stuff.

Good morning and happy Friday!

I'm up a little earlier than I have been getting up lately, between checking on the pup and the excitement of the Mevo arriving today I guess my mind was buzzing. 

Priya is doing good this morning and seems to be back to get normal self. She's currently made herself into a burrito under a blanket we have on the couch. My wife made her a special meal last night of boiled chicken because she was a brave girl who went to the vet. Plus, she snubbed the food we put down for her. 

The Mevo is scheduled to arrive before 3:45 and I hope it gets here earlier so I can take it to the range. We have rain forecast for tomorrow and I'm looking forward to getting some first impressions. 

@Kenny B I hope you are feeling better today, El Conquistador. I know you're in all our thoughts and prayers. 

I've got to run out and let my friend's dogs out a little bit later today then run to Walmart to pick up a silver metallic sharpie and a couple of pairs of jeans. My old ones are with it and one pair looks like I stole them from an 80's hair band.

Good morning everyone. First day back to work but at least it’s just a work day. Morning will be spent getting out equipment for our archery unit and getting our second semester rosters and grade books set up. I get to pick up an Apple TV from FB Marketplace this afternoon and will get it connected when I get home. That should let me connect my phone to the TV in the garage and start getting even more from my Rapsodo. Breakfast burrito is in hand and now off to buy an overpriced cup of Java.
