Taylormade R1 a diamond in the rough?

 This bad boy turns 10 years old as it was released in 2013. I’ve tried other drives, but the R1 always finds its way back into the bag.  Who still plays the R1 what do you like and dislike?

This brings back memories. Had my first on course 300 yard drive with this driver. 

I liked the look and enjoyed it. I won't go as far as saying I miss it though. With how far tech has come I think or believe I am better with newer drivers.

I wanted the R1 soooooo bad when it came out back in the day. Think it’s a great looking club and a buddy of mine had one and hit absolute bombs with it.

Not even the best driver tm made during that time. The rbz was better

It was only a few years later when the m1/2 was released that tm nailed it especially with the m2. It’s till one of the best drivers made with Ping g400 being another

Had one for a little bit, I never got along with it at all. I seem to have that problem with TM drivers. Gave it to my son, who immediately got rid of it in favor of a Cobra he still has in the bag.
