Here we are more than half the way through Week 3, the final week of divisional match play.   We've got 28% (18 of 64) of the scores posted.  That coupled with the reduced banter suggests there's likely a lot of "strategery" (as they said on Saturday Night Live) going on right now.  

For those who have posted already, thank you.  You made my job a little easier by spreading out the scores.  For those who have yet to post, get those rounds in.  It looks like the mid-Atlantic coastal states will be a little soggy due to the potential tropical cyclone number 16, so try and get rounds in before it gets bad there.

I'm looking forward to an interesting next four days.  In two of the four divisions, the two top teams play one another.   One division is tied.  In another, first and second are only separated by 0.5 points. 

My guess is that many of the divisional races will come down to the wire.   So put your game faces on, go play your best and let's see what shakes out!  

I can't wait for Monday night to see how this all plays out!!!

I have a round scheduled this weekend if anyone needs a round to use in case of inclement weather.  

We are looking at an atmospheric river next week here in the PNW, but the brunt of it isn't supposed to hit until Monday and we're used to soggy ground.  I mean, I chose my name for a reason.

Well I finally had a great round today for my week 3 posting! Hopefully it'll help take our team to the top!! It was a beautiful day topped by a birdie made from 35 feet away!! Of course there were a few 3 putts in there along the way but kept my mistakes to a minimum today!!

I have to give credit to @GolfSpy TCB for scheduling this Match Play event.  The final important Week 3 play finishes on Solheim Cup singles matches, semi-finals play finishes on the Ryder Cup singles matches and that leaves us alone to crown our match play champion the next week.  

What a great three weeks of golf!

Week three card in the books. Shot a career low at my home course and a 9 hole low 43 on the back 9. Posting to the VCT next. Driver was dialed in today and if not for too many user error 3 putts I could have been mid 80s. Gross 90, Net 68!

My back flared up again Friday. I had a great excuse for poor tee shots on Saturday. Today, I was fine, and still hit poor tee shots. However, 58° wedge and LAB Putter saved the round. 24 putts will cure many errant drives.

Really good front nine could have been spectacular if not for a bad bounce Double on 2.   No. 8, is one of the toughest par 5a double there is not horrible

Got my round in a little later today. Sorry for the late post. Handicap was 11 for the course.

This round shall be dubbed “A Tale of Two Cities”. I was either hot or cold. Four birdies, one of which counts as a net eagle, but two doubles and a triple did me in. Just too many unforced errors tonight. Not gonna complain, it was a really good round. Just have to keep working to shore up those little mistakes. 

Hopefully this makes some good ham and eggs, maybe even steak and eggs, with my playing partner so we can avoid last place in our pool.

...and interesting matches so far!  Still have 8 outstanding scores that need to be posted.  Once I have them, I'll announce Week 3 results and the four division winners that will proceed to the playoffs!

Great tee to green, sadly the pins were in some tough spots so did not make some relatively short birdie putts.  But happy with how I played.

Ben and team, let’s get into the playoffs next time.

I'm pulling for a fellow Western/Central New Yorker!  I was born, raised and had my career in Rochester.   In fact, when I was in college (one of them was Morrisville Ag and Tech), my parents lived in Camillus for a few years.  

Your division is really close with the final two matches determining who moves forward to the playoffs!

Was just kidding :). I am in Liverpool. With such a tight division, this was the worst week to falter a bit, but oh well. This has been great, nonetheless.
