I'm looking forward to taking this journey with you, it should be a fun, humbling experience. We all think we know what our yardages are and this will be a good way to find out of we're right. I'm hoping to get out and let some of my playing partners try it out to see what they think.

@cnosilwas not the 5 iron, that one I also swung a lot the past 2 weeks.

@Rob Person you would be correct with the 60*. That club is a specialty wedge and I rarely swing it outside of a trap or short side green. I also didn’t want to test the capabilities of my cage keeping it in lol.

PM me your address will send it out to you. Hopefully you can provide some feedback on the other areas of the forum where others have discussed the rapsodo

Seperate note really enjoying the ability to work through bad shots and getting feedback to get into a groove. Been warming up with an 8 iron daily and then just focusing on smooth swings.

this grouping was the last 6 shots where I was very consistent, first several swings were not terrible just thin and typical of my first few swings

Working on my final review of the first leg of the FlightScope journey and will have the Mevo portion out later this week.  

The Mevo is now heading to @sirchunksalot and should be in his hands in a couple days for his testing.  I am looking forward to his thoughts and review.

I’d also be interested in trying out the Rapsodo! According to @Rob Person ‘s earlier post, the right answer was 60* and @Shapotomous said putter, which I actually laughed out loud reading.

I wasn’t able to find the exact light I have so they must not carry it anymore. This one is similar but I couldn’t see the CRI rating on the website. This one is 7000 lumen and mine are 10000.

Sorry guys already gone, will be heading to @CFreddie end of the week along with the MEVO which will be heading to my veteran brother @Luisddavila looking forward to wrapping up the review and moving onto the the MEVO+

I have the Mevo myself and wanted to see if you all would come to the same conclusions /feelings that I have on the unit. I use mine in conjunction with my Optishot2 sim. The Optishot is good with total distance, club path, and playing courses. The Mevo picks up all the ball data and carry information. 

Overall these are my findings on the Mevo

Lighting is important if you are not using a projector and just hitting into a net.  If you are projecting, the screen gives you the contrast / light you need. The placement distance of the unit behind the ball is important for the best results. Making sure the Mevo is at the same height as the ball and that the unit is level is important. Using the metallic stickers is really needed indoors. While at the range, aligning range balls so that the label on the ball is horizontal and away from you helps the Mevo pick up spin and you’re not wasting metallic stickers. A silver metallic sharpie works well as a replacement for the metallic stickers. I’ll do that on some range balls to double check the readings.

Glad to see everyone getting along with the Mevo. 

Great tips @Tom the Golf Nut! I’m sure flightscope has looked into optimal lighting setups and lighting direction. Might be nice if the information you’ve laid out here was part of their FAQ page or something…

My intro is posted! @Josh Parker has kindly sent out the Mevo I'll be testing and it's scheduled to arrive Friday. To say I'm excited it's an understatement. I was hoping to take it to the course Friday, but it'll probably arrive after I leave, so I'll have to get it out Saturday and work on my first impressions. I already have the app downloaded and am ready to dive into some Mevo goodness.
