Testers Wanted! Last year, we had a Forum Testing Opportunity for the Garmin S70 watch, which received great results for its high-end feel, look, and of course, performance. For this member testing opportunity, we are taking a different angle and combining the Garmin S70 watch with the Garmin Approach CT10 sensors for a full on and off-course tracking experience. A Different Kind Of Member Test The Garmin S70 Life Series member test is going to take performance and tracking to a new level. While we still want to know how the products perform for our selected testers, this opportunity is just as much about how these products set you up to perform at your best. The selected testers will go through this long-term testing opportunity (8 weeks) tracking their Body Battery, Sleep Score, and HRV (heart rate variability) throughout the testing period. They will take these measurements before rounds, after rounds, and even on off days to see how they can help prepare their bodies for success, but also see the effects of their preparation (or lack thereof) on the scorecard. Combined with the Approach CT10 tracking sensors, the selected testers will have access to a full suite of data, stats, and more. The Testing Opportunity For this Forum Member Testing Opportunity with Garmin, we are looking for four golfers who are willing to share and explore the full Garmin experience with the S70 watch and Approach CT10 sensors. These golfers will test, review, and keep the watch and sensors as part of the member test, all while tracking their results to see how their day-to-day lives affect their golf rounds or how their golf rounds affect their day-to-day lives! We want to know how they score on good days and bad days, how the whole system works together, and if using the Garmin health tracking systems can affect their game to lower their scores. Was really excited to see this come out been using 18Birdies for the last year. Have been debating on getting something more extensive for tracking shots. I’d love to give something like this a try and see how accurate other apps are compared to an actual GPS company.

Psst you should ask Garmin to make this one worldwide, not just North America....  Nearly everything I've been interested in this year has been region-locked haha. Looks like an another awesome opportunity though, the MGS team has been killing it this year organising things

I love Garmin products. Use them for biking and running. Excited to see what their golf products are like. If anything like their other products they will be great.

I do on all opps. Sometimes it's how they are structure so we are dealing with the NA rep and they have others who are Europe based. All depends on the company.

I will also add without question we have had more international opps this year than ever before!

I use Fitbit for steps and daily data and an S10 for golf (very basic info) so it would potentially be an eye opener to see what data the S70 could provide.

What an incredible opportunity for any testers selected! If only i hadn't just bought a S70 at the start of this season! Testers are definitely in for a treat! I've worn mine every day since getting it and have loved every second of it. Will have to post an unofficial review once I get a few more rounds with it!

This is an outstanding opportunity.  Garmin make excellent products and while many have used the S60, S62 and now S70, not as much is known in what type of data the sensors provide, ease of use, etc.  So will be fascinating to see the results.  Do we have another worthy competitor to Arccos and Shotscope?

Super interesting take with the S70 and sensors. I'm definitely interested in seeing how the sensors and shot tracking work with Garmin. They're pretty much the most expensive options out there, so I'll be curious to see if it's worth the extra $. Plus, adding in all the health-related tracking will be a fun follow to see if the S70 can indeed work as a standard smart watch / health watch replacement.

I'm eager to see if the newest version of their GPS watch + sensors will be accompanied by an update of their app, mainly regarding the stats analysis side of things. I'm a former Garmin user (Approach S60) and despite the hardware being perfectly decent, the app was very disappointing (it's the main reason why I switched to Shot Scope). I will follow this test that's for sure!
