I am still loving my  ZStar Diamond.  It’s a great ball.  I do find if it’s windy and cold the Z Star XV works better for me in those conditions.

I will have to try that. I live in a place that is windy but rarely cold. It just goes to show that with all of the amazing equipment and technology out there today, everything comes down to what works for the individual.

Went to my fitting today. Just pulled the trigger on Srixon ZX4 mkII irons.

UST Dart V 120 F4s for the irons and Dart V 120 Wedge F4s for the wedges. Now I'm done.

Not a club, but I bought two of these, This color and the green.  And I believe I’m going to buy a few sets of the Brown Asher x Golf Pride grips.  I’m a fan of brown, so seeing golf grips that have that classic look needs to get in my bag.  And probably should order 20 sets honestly, I’m sure they won’t be around long.

Callaway supersoft all winter..u always lose more anyway, but I'm thinking I might go with the Maxfli Trifli this winter

This exactly. I have both and usually play a SuperSoft as most do but Ill be trying the TriFli this year

Hi, My name is Josh and I have a problem.... 

Found a $100 deal on this beautiful PING G400 LST Driver. For a 2017 Driver id say this is in great condition. Not super excited about the shaft as I've never gotten along with the HZRDUS line but going to give it a shot being this doesn't feel like a 2x4 like the rest(my opinion, no hate) haha. Just from the few swings I've taken with it even being an 8.5* head set at 9.1* with no length/grip/weight adjustments this head just wants to go straight with plenty of launch. NOW Spin is what surprised me being crazy consistent no matter where on the face I hit it(I paid for it so I use every inch haha)

@rkj427, any others interested in printed yardage books ... Here's a look at a Strackaline book (others include Golf Logix and Putt View) I recently picked up for the new club I joined...

^^ This is #1 and yeah it's a weird dogleg to start out on. One thing you do NOT see here is (a) just how tall the trees lining the inside of the fairway are, nor (b) just how far those big tall long branches overhang *into* the inside curve of the dogleg! 

Similar kinda thing on #9 (except dogleg left) so the overhead views + detail lets you "plan" (yeah I know the joke hahaha) your tee shot. 

 

^^ Green view - USGA legal - shown three different ways. Same layout for every hole.

 

^^ A long, for me, Par 5 that is visually deceptive on the second shot - I tried cutting the corner 'cuz it looked like it'd still be a long approach - but now I see I have a much safer layup hitting anywhere left of that bunker.

Rubber will meet the road when I actually put them into play on Sunday but I have an irrational level of confidence after just 45 mins with them. Famous last words

I did order one for my "home course" and am currently awaiting delivery.

And I agree that some of the overhanging tree branches aren't shown, but by actually playing the course one can still plan their best way around the course with the best chance for scoring, provided the shots come off as planned.

Actually a harder lower spin ball for me in the winter so I get more rollout on FW and don't create so many craters on the green. Conditions are soft and wet. Granted winters out here are high 40s in the early AM and low mid 60s by afternoon. Wind also being an issue.
