Got Problems?

I have decided to launch all presents I find in my lawn into the road so all of the neighborhood can spread the wealth.

My dog likes to run so when we put him out he is on a leash. Every time I go to mow the lawn and I find presents in my lawn I throw all of it in the street and don't think twice about it. I just use a shovel or rack and put it right in he middle of the street away from my drive so I don't get it in my tires.

Woke up this morning sneezing, runny nose and all the other good stuff. I think I got the FLU AGAIN.

Going to Doc as soon as I can tomorrow. Last year I didn't take care of it and I spent 6-7 months with a bacterial infection which caused C Diff. Don't want that again.

Take care Rick!  We "seasoned" people are a high risk.  Get lots of rest; don't sneak out and play golf until you shake it.

i got a 3:00pm appt with a nurse practitioner. It's at a different medical center because mine is booked up with old farts and flu. It's only a 15 minute cart ride.

Read an article a couple of weeks ago tracking the correlation between flu parents and shots. Apparently just over 50% of the flu patients had gotten shots - so there must be a variant of the flu bug out there.

Here's a rant. Got to Florida yesterday and went to Dollar armed with my car reservation. Sorry Sir, you're card won't be accepted by our system because it says money pass on the back of it, meaning it's reloadable. But it's a Mastercard issued by my Credit Union, not a buy off the shelf card. Sorry sir, we can't rent you the car you reserved.

 

Fantastic! We go to Fox off site and the person there does it for us even though she's not meant to but it's costing us almost twice as much for the car, albeit we're in something bigger....but c'mon!

What does it matter if it's reloadable as long as the funds are there at the time of the transaction? That doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Yeah that's a weird one. When I was at Enterprise, we could only take those if they had your name on it. Too easy to run and never pay if you use a Wal-Mart card. I know airports are generally much stricter and require regular CCs. The only reason I carry a credit card at all is for rental cars and hotels.

 

The real kicker is Fox probably jacked your rate up just because they had you. I bet their internet price wasn't that high.

I just read that a Japanese firm is testing a flu pill that will kill a flu virus in 24 hours.  Could be available here in US by next year... hang on!!

My course put nice, new fluffy sand in our practice bunker.  Now it plays completely different than bunkers on the course.  They never replace sand in all the bunkers; too many and too expensive.  So, my practice time in bunkers will be limited to on course poor shots.

Sorry to hear about your surprise but it's nice to know i'm not alone.  I'm not sure what's gotten into my dog of late except maybe age.  For 12 years, she was as regular as the sunrise and disciplined about where she goes to the potty.  For the past few months, she goes anywhere and everywhere and at any moment.  The front porch, back porch, hallway floor, master bathroom, kitchen, basement, and even the middle of the den couch once.

 

We have had to force her to stay in the basement until bedtime as a result.  She is blind and her hearing is starting to fail.  I'm starting to wonder if maybe she isn't diabetic.  We've taken her to the Vet several times in recent months but haven't gotten any answers other than "she's just getting old".

So I was looking at golf clubs on ebay and saw this........

 

Messaged the seller and ask which iron had been reshafted.  He responded with no clubs had been reshafted just had a loose ferrule.  

 

Anyone else see the problem here or is it just my eyes?
