Every year I keep making it a goal to meet and play with MGS members.  I've managed to do it the past two years, so...  In 2017 I will play with some more MGS members, if y'all will help me do it!!

My goal - as always - is to play more. I want to take some lessons. Kid #2 is due in June so we'll see how much this cuts into those plans. Should be the last kid so one of these years I'll be able to really follow through!

We don't even have to wait until spring time, there is always the heated ranges in Westerville or we can get on the aim at golftec and play a round

A friend I play with is a former golf coach and we've been working on my game. My number one goal is to improve my score, average low 80's. I'll be happy with that for the upcoming year, with the hope of breaking 80 in the next.

Besides that, analyzing my stats from The Grint seems to help my game as much as anything. That and some range time is about all I can think to ask for.

Leave the bag alone and just work on the game...

I think for me, it's to sharpen my mental game in a big way.  I know I have the skills to play well, but I get in my own way a lot.  I'd like to actively work on that as my biggest project next year.  Also, more constructive practice.  I went to the range too much this year, which can be fun, but doesn't help all that much with the score.  Time to spend more practice time around and on the greens.

Travel-wise, I'd like to finally get up and play Bethpage Black.  It's been at least 6 years that I intend to do it, but put it off and before I know it, the season is over.  I'd also like to play in at least 5 states in my quest to play in all 50.

This all starts with having more time for golf.  So the priority will be to get more free time for that.

My goals are similar to ones already mentioned. Drop down to single digits once more; get out and play more; have more birdies and particularly on the scorecard than bogeys or others; get more fit - need to get the weight down as it's interfering with my swing, lol.

Hacker, like you I must lose the weight.   While I am resolved to improve my game, to target a single digit handicap a bit of a stretch for me. As Eastwood says, a man's gotta know his limitations.   Perhaps, Carolina, you and I could jointly resolve to play more golf together in the coming year.   And of course, any of our MGS friends are more than welcome to join us.   More over, it is my sincere hope that they do.

Yep I lost weight last year and have became more flexable and actually my swing speed had picked up. Actually had to make some minor swing changes with the weight loss. I have dropped about 40 pounds from my avatar picture

1.  Tee it up with some of you rascals.

2.  Maybe add a new driver to the bag.

3.  Shoot more rounds in the 70's than I did in 2016.
