I went to the putting green at the local muni with the lovely Laura (pictured above) to take pics for my EVNroll review.

 

For the newer guys Laura is a Grace grad, she was Penny's aid at Grace while in college and is currently a teacher at our school. I've become her surrogate uncle. She is also my go to photographer.

 

I've played hundreds of rounds at Mangrove Bay and have hit a ridiculous number of putts on the practice green there. We took about 20 pictures the last few with me lined up to putt. We were only concerned about the best shot angle and not aiming at a hole.

 

Walking to the best spot a saw a hole about 10 feet away out of the corner of my eye. After she said, "got it," on the last one I turned without ever looking at the hole and poured the 10 footer right in the jar. We were both stunned.

 

I think I may have hit a few too many putts on that green. Either that or there's some magic in that EVNroll. :)

I hate to say it I suspect it was the Indian this time around. :)

 

My review of the E5 will be up this week. No doubt it's a great putter but it's vying to replace a putter that's been in my bag for over a decade.

 

 

I LOVE the ER5. Can't say enough good things about it.

That's great Rev. I'm also relieved. When I saw your thread title then saw it was about going to get pictures, I was afraid it was going to be bad news like the putting green closed or someone constantly getting in your way while trying to do so.

 

I have tried the putting while not looking. To date it hasn't gone well. LOl

How do you deal with the sound? Rolled a bunch with it last week and made just about everything...but the sound was too much for me.

Looking forward to it. It reminds me of an older Ping and I hate that sound as well. For what it is worth the blades don't have the same sound and felt great.
