You would think that SOMEONE would individually spec build for those willing to pay for it. You only to have to look online for a custom shoe, shirt, or suitmaker. You can even get a custom built car, even now when new cars are so heavily regulated. I'd be happy just to know of the existence of a TRUE custom club maker. null

I love the tech story but the best comment from the interview was we can’t make the face any faster because of th limits/testing and it’s the fastest they can make it using the cnc milling so they developed the clubhead to move faster allowing to gain speed that way Did you see the new TXG video? Ian said it was the fastest driver they have EVER tested. They are gonna do another one with a proper fitting for Mattie. That was just the same shaft vs the F8+ without being fitted. juspoole
PMookie
Here’s a link to the TXG F8+ vs F9. The ball speed off the F9 was FIVE MPH FASTER than F8+, and Matt hit 180 ball speed! The distance, though, was NOT greater with the F9! Launch and spin took any distance gains away (launched too low, no spin). They said an actual fitting for it will now take precedence over the Mizuno they were going to do. Ian said he could see Matt hitting 184-185 ball speed! The last drive Matt got ended-up 353 and went OFF the simulated range. https://youtu.be/pY6HiTC5Lo0 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Quote Driver: Honma TR 460 8.5*, Aldila RIP Alpha 80 S, 45 1/4"; Ping G425 LST, Fujikura Speeder TR 661 S, 45 1/2" hybrids: Cobra King Tec 17* and 21*, both with Graphite Design Tour AD-DI 105 X Irons: Srixon ZX5 4-6, ZX7 7-PW, UST Mamiya Recoil F4, +1” Wedges: SMS 50D/54V/58DModus 130 stiff, +1” Putter: EAS 1.0 All but putter have Lamkin ST+2 Hybrid Calibrate midsize built to oversize +

tony@CIC
This isn't a Cobra issue, or a golf issue even. T This is an everything in life issue. Companies make product geared toward the largest amount of users possible without having to customize. Why just complain about golf clubs? Why cant car companies make car seats to my specific size? Why cant apple make an iphone to the specs I want? Why do cant I tell McDonalds how many pickles I want on my burger? Why cant shoe companies make a shoe molded to my exact foot? See what I'm getting at? Again - let's keep this thread on the topic of the Cobra F9. If you want to have a discussion about a lack of custom options in the golf world, then we can discuss that in another threadWell said Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy null 1 Quote Left Hand orientation SIM 2 D Max with Fujikura Air Speeder Shaft Cobra Radspeed 3W/RIptide Shaft 410 Hybrids 22*, 26* Cobra Speed Zone 6-GP/Recoil ESX 460 F3 Shafts SM7 54* Wedge Glide 3.0 60* Wedge O Works putter V3 NX9-HD - 4 Wheel EZGO TXT 48v cart - too many shoes to list and so many to buy And BAG Boy Golf Balls: Vice Pro Plus 2020 Official Tester Beginning Driver Speed - 78 2019 Official Tester 410 Driver 2018 Official Tester C300

I'd be happy just to know of the existence of a TRUE custom club maker. We kind of do have these folks... Club Champion, Tour Spec, etc. These folks DO fit a golfer specifically for everything from loft, lie, length, weight, even sound (using hot melt), etc! They will PURE all of one’s shafts, make sure every club in the set matches exact specs, etc. What else is there to do???Just watch the fitting for the F9 TXG did, it’s posted above. Look at all that Ian did to match that driver head SPECIFICALLY to Matt Blois. That is CUSTOM. And we all have access to it!I’ll be making sure my next fitting includes this beast now!!! Wow! juspoole
Tried this one out about 3 weeks agao and loved the look, but it just didn't click with me. I wasn't swinging my best that day so I may try again. After seeing all the chatter and the results coming through on the increased ball speed, it may be worthwhile to try it again. However, I was just fitted to my TS3 and its going to be tough to beat. srooch2 1 Quote Driver: Mavrik Sub Zero 9* (Set to 10) Ventus Blue 6X 2 Hybrid: TSI3 Hybrid Tensei Blue 80 X (17.25*) 3 Hybrid 818 H2 Hybrid Hzrdus RDX Black 6.5 (20.5*) 4 Iron - T200 4 Iron Graphite Design Tour AD IZ X Hybrid Shaft Irons 5-PW: T100-S 5 - GW KBS Tour 130 X Gap/Sand Wedge: Vokey SM6 49* SM8 54* Lob Wedge: Jaws 5 Wedge 58* DG Tour Issue Stiff Putter: Phantom 5.5 34" Pro Platinum Newport 2 35" Taylormade Tour Black Spider 34"
