Hopefully sometime, if only the drive wasn't so long.

Very cool shankster! These are very high on my list of a dream bag I’d like to build if I had the money. Maybe I can convince my wife to let me do it this year lol

Man, those clubs are gorgeous. @Shankster Great pics as well! I'm curious how you like the trajectory/spin, and how the clubs have been holding greens for you?

I am a high spin player so stopping the ball hasn’t been an issue for me unless I skull one or ride the wind too much... but these put the brakes on quick!

4 iron stopped within 3 paces of the stick from 205 out of the rough.

Getting a lot of stopping power on the scoring irons. Actually sucked a few 9 and PW’s right off the front of the green.

Stock trajectory is exactly what I was looking for. Not too high, not too low, just right.

I’ll be doing a specific topic on the trajectory, and shaping ability... keep an eye out on the catalog of discussion topics on the first page.

@Shankster I too am playing the TM Rocketbladz tour and having played more rounds than normal this summer, i'm thinking about treading them in. Whats your opinion? You think they are middle of the pack or maybe i just need to get the lie adjusted and more time with them? Though you seem to be a low digit handicapper so...

Trading in the RBZ’s? I’ve been bringing the 5 iron with me to the range to warm up with. Today I went back and hit it at the end of my session and it just looked huge compared to the Blueprint 5 iron.

I think the RBZ Tours are a great set that can reach a wide range of skill. If you are having good results with them I don’t see any reason to swap them out.

If you trade them in what are you looking for? Something more forgiving?

@Shankster Giving thought to getting refitted for irons. Ive had the RBZ tour for about  ?7years??. Since then im sure my swing has changed a little. Now having MGS and testing data, i'd like to try out some Mizuno or Srixon (z585) game improvement irons. Something that has data with a small(er) shot area.

I had never been fit before. If you’re in the market go for it. I tried the 785’s at the demo day. They were a great club.

If you’re looking for a PING version of that club the i210 or maybe iBlade is in the same category as the RBZ Tours.

They have demo days quite often, keep an eye out.

Update from yesterday’s range session.

I wasn’t having the best of ball striking days. Hitting all sorts of misses. At least I know what to expect when I am having an off day.

I can chunk them pretty easily on this new grass that I am not use to. But after a few fat shots I just opened up the face a smidge and was hitting some beautiful soft fades. (Using this for my stock shot, 2-3 yard fade)

On the flip side I was catching some thin toey, and a few skinny necky ones. These clubs are magical on thins for a blade, you know you missed on the bottom but it doesn’t kill you like a jack hammer, and distance lost isn’t extreme, nor is the direction.

Quite impressed.

I could still have gotten around the golf course at a pretty decent score with my C- game.

Thanks!

Not as much as one would think. Probably around the same as my TM’s.

Just got caught up here, I somehow missed this thread with all the CCC Q&A going on.

Congrats on being chosen, as others have already said these things certainly suit you, and there isn't anyone better on here I could think of to review these. I'm looking forward to following along, I don't have any questions because blades like this terrify me, but I would love to be able to game them someday.

Don’t be scared.

After looking at these for a few weeks, my old irons seem HUGE, and they aren’t.

You could play a mind trick on yourself. Play with blades for a few weeks then switch back to your normal club and seem like you have a bigger hitting area. Could work.

This thread is brilliant @Shankster, the mods chose very wisely in picking you for this huge job 👏👏

I just love the look of these irons and I could live with the odd painful moment just to have the pleasure of pulling them out of my bag 😍😁😎
