VC300SE Voice Golf GPS

Anyone using this voice GPS device? I was thinking about buying one for my wife's birthday. Are there other competitors like Golf Buddy that are better? FYI I think she'd prefer voice vs looking at a watch because she would have to put on glasses for the watch - this would save her a couple of steps. Also she have very small wrists - most of the watches would be pretty big for her.

Tony this one isn't Voice but I thought I'd show it as an option. I've used it for several years and it seems pretty good. I do wear glasses but can still read it easily without them for example. I normally have to clipped/affixed to the cart roof with an articulated bracket on the roof support bars on either side - whether I'm the one driving or riding. With the clip on bracket I have also attached it to my push cart. Anyway... here a look for reference.

I have one as well except mine has a nice crack across the face from when I dropped it . Easy to stick in a pocket if you need to.

$100, sold everywhere.

Just an update. I just ordered the Golf Biddy V2 for my wife. I read a number of reviews on different units and based on the features ended up with the Golf Buddy. My initial criteria for my wife was voice capabilities since it wouldn't require her to put on glasses to see the distance. An added benefit is shot tracking (just distance), since she's always asking me "how far did my shot go" . The feature is that it does have a visual display as well.  Thanks for yopur feedback - I will follow up and report how she liked it.

I have had 2 Golf Buddy voice GPS and really liked them. The 1st one didn’t make it thru the washing machine for some reasonit was attached to my shirt.
I be also been using Garmin 10? watch and I’m happy w that also. I’m sure I won’t put that in the washing machine.
