Good Morning fine folks. Up as usual 3rd cup of coffee beside me. No golf planned today. I played the League yesterday and I tend not to play 2 days in a row for now because my back will not take it. It is supposed to be cool today so I am going to do some work around the house with maybe some mat work in the yard. I do not know how it is with the Florida guys but it seems the Snowbirds have came early this year. Yesterday was a cluster. We had 50 players in the Men's league and one of the Ladies Leagues had a tournament and had 60 players.  According to some staff screwed up and booked a bunch of the Golf Now .com crowd. We were the first group off of #1 and we were a 3 some ( one of our guys was a no show) and we played the front in like 1 3/4 hrs. When we made the turn the 10th tee was stacked up 4 groups deep. Back side was 3 1/2 hrs long. I completely lost focus and tightened up by #15 despite efforts to stay loose. I know when we got in they were out of carts. But staff has been told not to push the members on unloading carts. I know today with no Men's or ladies leagues they have the small members money game but the place is booked solid.

Good Morning!

Wow the sky is not that depressing grey today .. whoo hoo! But otoh temps are in the 50s with a bit of a chilly breeze... 

Feeling better finally so may try for some outdoor practice later; seems like a very long time since I've hit a golf ball so gonna be mostly wedges to get back into a rhythm.

Then maybe I'll go for that steam bath that I didn't get out to do yesterday; followed a stop at Home Depot for a few small needed items.

Good morning Spies,

Happy Hump Day!  Nice crisp morning here in Central NY. No golf today. But yesterday morning’s round was great. I’m hoping not jinx things but I have made progress on my swing, especially with the driver. Less slices, more fairways and I’m getting out to the 230 yard range more often. Someday I will reach 300+ yards like all of those keyboard warriors on golf social media.  

My birthday gift arrived early. A series 9 Apple Watch. I was playing with the new features and happily discovered that after 8 weeks into my running under the guidance of a coach, my resting heart rate has gotten lower by 20 BPM. The other benefit of running again, I’ve lost 12 pounds.

So proud of my son. He completed his BSN and passed his boards to be an RN. He was Pinned yesterday.

We are taking our boys up to the Twin Cities to go to the MOA and are staying at a Great Wolf Lodge waterpark. Should be an awesome little weekend. Hoping to get my match play round in Saturday late afternoon when we get back, but if not I know that my team captain @GolfSpy_APH has a substitute set so that we still have a score in the event I cannot get my round in this week.

Morning everyone,

First round of golf on my “Business Trip” went well yesterday. It was supposed to be a scramble but it was changed to stroke play. The bonus was it was at a course I played a couple weeks ago with TJ @BallsLeon so I knew the course and played well. Four bogies and two birdies. Pretty good for a tricky course.

 Heading down for breakfast then packing for my trip over to St. Louis. I have two more rounds of golf. Both charity scrambles.

Good Wednesday Morning Spies!

Cloudy & muggy Central Florida morning. 75 degrees at 7am tee time, it was still kind of dark with the cloud cover.  Couple of sprinkles, walked 9 holes & sadly my Sqairz golf shoes, left shoe separated at the toe. I love those shoes. going to call Sqairz customer service to see what we can work out, shoes only 10 about months old.

Good morning all.

Thankfully everyone seems to be on the mend today. Kids seem to be getting back to normal and it seems like everyone is off meds at this time. Looks like another cool fall day just hanging around, maybe get some time to relax and enjoy the outside. No golf with a wedding coming up but still a great week.

Good morning all!

Another rainy day in Chicago. Perfectly fine with me as long as the weekends stay nice for golf! Have a tee time planned for Saturday morning and might try and sneak another round in sometime Sunday. My fiancée is out of town this weekend so have to take full advantage of the free time 

There's a new PGA Superstore that opened up less than 10 minutes from my place. They have a promotion tonight for Chicago District Golf Association members that gives us free simulator access and a discount off purchases. Something to look forward to at the end of the workday.

Wednesday, my spies;  the day that can’t decide what other days of the week to ally with. 
     Whew… I know Texas is big, so big, so hugely big, but man; I  believe I crossed multiple time zones getting to the location site. The site itself is so remote and isolated that the Mexican Cartels probably don’t know of it’s existence. This positive for the location site is that it will aid my golf practice in providing me hundreds of acres in which I can practice my wastrel area shots, that are sadly, one of my primary golf shots. 
   In regards to the work location. Noticing the sign posted at the entrance of the location access reminded me how the evolution of the work team continues in trying to put a capital D in diversity…..
   May your day be like how we all want are golf games, hazard free.

Just got back from my physical therapy session.  I showed them my stretching exercise routine and overall, they thought it was OK (deleted one); a few exercises were modified and several more added.  The target is my lower back.  With the changes I feel more stretch in my hip area and hammies.  I also was told to do them twice a day instead of my one time in the morning.  My goal is to get my exercise routine to be more effective and to make sure I do them correctly.  More appointments each week to monitor progress.

Also since I was home sick I wanted to see just what my tee height looked like from the side.  Its not something I really ever paid a ton of attention to so was interesting to get a wild hair up my ass and actually look at it.  Welp the notch gives me dead even 50% of the ball, always looks so much lower looking down at it.

Crazy day at work yesterday with a major IT issue causing downtime globally and canceling production for a couple of shifts. We were able on our shift to work on safety and work related refresher training.

It's been a good start to the morning, the weather is nice after a surprise rain shower last night.

Good Thursday morning all.

Everyone continues to be on the mend here, though my youngest is still a bit fussy this last evening. Still waiting to see if the wedding will go as expected. Will be testing everyone tomorrow to see, my wife is 10 days out, but the kids likely won't be good to go so I might have to stay behind and watch them. Only time will tell.

Otherwise another work day, trying to get some work out the door before I am out of the office tomorrow.

Good Morning Spies,

I have been ridiculously busy with music stuff, got 3 projects going, plus a full freezer that died, car repair, and all that other fun life stuff, not much time for golf. that doesn't even count work LOL. Busy weekend too, but gotta get in some cup viewing. Season is running out though, so gotta get out there when I can. Breaking 80 might have to wait till next year but that's OK. Just so we make some progress. And you never know, could happen any round, right? Cheers and have a great day!

Good morning Spies on what should be the last cool, cloudy and damp day here. Was able to install new grips on my clubs last evening in preparation for a couple of rounds scheduled this weekend.
