I had a really good time on the call today and it was fun getting to talk to everyone. It's always one of the highlights of my week.

I have no idea from where I will be logging into the call next week.  Learned at the course they are ceasing operations for the year on Sunday so my season pass course will expire before I get to play there again.  Glad to show everyone the back 9 this time which seems to be so appropriate for a last round of the year, the back 9 with an awesome finish on 18.  Thanks for coming along on the round

Uncertain if there may have been (2) calls or not, as I too had an issue with connecting at first, sent a message to Matt, @GolfSpy SAM, and right after that Jamie, @GolfSpy_APH started the call and I was admitted with a few of the other regular members who have attended in the past.

Not a big deal, great call as usual, and again a lot of input and participation from all involved.

Time change globally may have created the issue today, and after this weekend, most of the USA will change and alleviate that concern.

Can confirm. I was on @GolfSpy SAM’s alternate call with @sirchunksalot, @Dead Solid Bogey, @GolfSpy BOS, and @EasyPutter. 
 

it was a good conversation and fun, but it’ll be nice to merge everybody back into the same call next week.

Yes… I was able to get on for a short time and attempted to provide some  “comic relief” until work reared it’s ugly head and I had to bail the call.

I had a previously scheduled event.....gonna prioritize MGS testing over the call.    I'll be on travel next week but I should be able to make the call since me Thursday priorities will end at 3:00.

I'm going to second what @Ben Joest said, it was a great call today and it's always good to see some new members drop in and join us on our Thursday tradition.

I was able to join the call. Still marvel at the friendliness and ease of the community that makes the call seem like something that has been going on for years… Was thankful for the informative and friendly answers to a couple of my questions. Still have to figure out a way to get on the call without having to use the wife’s phone;  as mine and the computer are tied to corporate during the call time… Ah, first world problems. 
  Take care and be happy as there is golf out there waiting for you.. Also cake, need to try and find some cake to help celebrate @sirchunksalot’s birthday.

Everybody needs some cake, mine was delicious! As mentioned earlier it's the cake mom used to make and it's just a regular yellow cake mix with homemade chocolate icing that is drizzled over the top and into holes poked into it.

Mom used to worry about what to get me for my birthday and all I ever told her was just to make the cake. I think it's awesome my wife learned to make it for me.

Was a very good call today. A golf forum call was definitely a first for me and awesome! I was glad to be able to put some faces to names. As of right now I shouldn't have to cut out early for the next one. Thanks to everyone for welcoming a new guy to the call!

Agree with all of the previous posts here related to the call. The call today had a good mixture of regular attendees and some new members joining in, and the discussion allowed everyone an opportunity to speak whether asking questions or providing comments.

Also was cool to see Jamie provide some "behind the scenes" look at the forum, and the capabilities the moderators have seeing relevant information related to posts and members.

Honestly, these calls do allow a more personal level of interaction for all those who attend, no matter where in the world they may be located. All discussing topics related to a game we all love, while sharing unique experiences or input on the subject matter being discussed.

A highlight of my typical Thursday "workday" even if I stay "afterhours" to be able to attend.

I hate I missed most of the call, but glad I made it at the end. Had some business to take care of in selling a mobile home and still have a couple of things to do to get it completed. It's always something, I guess.

Yes. Great call again today. Nice to hear from some current testers, talk about Netflix, wedge preferences, and more. Depending on what my wife has planned for travel next week for the Thanksgiving holiday, hopefully Ill be able to jump on even if just briefly. Have a great week everyone.

Only got to hop on for a few minutes nearly on but it felt good getting to finally get on. One of these days I’ll get to participate for the whole call.

Sounds like a lot of MGSpies in my situation, for me it was turning a yard full of leaves into looking like a green well manicured lawn using just a mulching lawn mower.  No sooner had I logged in and started to listen giving a view of the yard and sunset then I was needed in the house, still was good to see good friends even if for a short visit.  Next week is US Thanksgiving on Thursday, now that will be an interesting time to have a call if everyone is able to give a cameo view of what we are doing during Community Call hour where we each happen to be

I was able to join very late due to an issue at work which had a timing conflict with the Community Call today.

I did see some of the regular participants, and a few newer participants, and the conversation flowed well on the variety of topics being discussed by the group.

Hoping that Jamie and / or Matt will host it next week, as it already has been mentioned that is the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US.

Daddy training never ends… There is always a TED talk in there somewhere…… I missed a lot today, including the community call. I will venture that possibly the wife person, induced the blood taking leeches to take more blood than they needed to… Had to take a nap to have enough energy to go to sleep tonight.

Great to be on with everyone again yesterday. Someday I'll actually get my camera working again so you can see my smiling face (just kidding, call me grumpy cat).

Thanks to the group, I'll likely not bother with that netflix cup garbage seeing as how pretty much everyone thought it was terrible. Saved me a few hours of my life.

The connection proved challenging, likely due to the ongoing ice storm. I'm optimistic about resolving it before next Thursday. It was great to see everyone and participate in the first MGS online meeting.
