What's your go to brand for pants?

They also have a nice “sale” section. How is the fit? Pretty true to size or a touch big? Looking at their size chart it looks like they run bog, but want to confirm.

I think they fit pretty true, but they have some stretch - so no need to unbutton after thanksgiving…. Seriously - I think they look nice and fit, not big or baggy, but they have some give.

I discovered Adidas pin roll pants last year and can't play with anything else since. Bought a second pair in another color after my first few wears. They are breathable enough that you can wear them all summer even at 30+°c.

They are not versatile in a sense that you could wear them at the office though.

Another vote here for the All In Motion pants at Target. I can wear them to work too, so bonus there. They're not the highest end pants you're going to get, but they're comfortable.

Haggar Cool 18's are my go to pant for both work and golf. They are always on sale and the shorts fit just the same as the pants. I can also choose either flat or pleated front if I need to dress it up a bit.

Whatever is on sale.  I have a real hang-up with paying retail for clothing because the quality never matches the price, imo.  Bonobos golf pants for $100+?  No thanks.  I know that's considered a good price for some, I just can't justify it.

I usually golf in shorts, but I think my current 'golf pants' are some Dockers Comfort Knit Chinos.  They get the job done; plenty of stretch and not heavy.  I'm 5'6" and don't wear my pants up at my belly button, so 30" inseams don't work for me, which excludes (if price doesn't) most brands like Nike, Puma, Adidas, Travis Mathew, Under Armour, etc..  At least, I never find anything from those brands in 28 or 29 inseams.  Tailors around me are few and far between and paying extra to make new pants actually fit is not appealing, on principle lol.

I hear ya, I'm mainly Bonobos and Asher now for golf attire but I think it's because the size and fit work best for me. I hover 30-31 some fit great some I have to wrench a belt just to keep them up and that pisses me off more than paying an extra 30-40$ 😂

I really like the golf sweat pants from U Suck at Golf.  They look like normal golf pants, are very comfortable...good for every day wear.

After that, I've been wearing Banana Republic pants I picked up from Costco for like $19....great deal, great pants.

COSTCO. 😂 I wear them for work, for golf and for casual events. “Tech slacks”. Lots of zippered pockets if needed, pretty stain resistant, and usually less than $25/pair. Perfect.

I mostly wear slacks on the course.  Michael Kors or Perry Ellis - Performance Dress Pants.  I have a unique shape I'm trying to fit 😉 and they seem to fit better than golf pants.  Plus.. it is easy to go from the office to the course 🙂

@GolfSpy TCB, wearing slacks....in Houston.....in the summer?  Really?  Wow.

I have a friend who lived in Houston four or five times over his career.  When he played golf, he'd bring two changes of clothes.  After nine they would shower and change clothes and after the round they would repeat it!

I guess that's the price you pay for being a slave to fashion!

The good news is that living in Key West, there's not too many times I actually have to wear pants (on the course or around town).   Even "cooler" days in the 60's I'm sporting shorts.  When I travel or are required to wear pants (working elections, jury duty, etc.) I'm a fan of tapered legged Adidas pants.   For me, I love the flexible waist band, tapered legs, moisture wicking stretch fabric and the overall fit.  Their only downfall is that they can wrinkle a little if you don't take them out of the dryer fast enough.  I've have had decent luck picking up reasonable priced pairs on eBay.

Most golf pants these days are too tight cut and I just dont like tight pants. I wear patagonia and columbia hiking pants and shorts as theyre similar looking to most golf pants but more comfortable and not unnecessarily tight.

It seems like your friend had an interesting routine while playing golf in Houston! Bringing two changes of clothes and showering after nine holes and then again after the round shows a dedication to staying fresh and comfortable during the game. Houston is known for its hot and humid climate, especially during the summer months, so it's understandable that your friend would want to stay clean and refreshed during his golf outings.

Changing clothes and showering after nine holes can help with managing sweat, staying cool, and maintaining comfort on the golf course. It's common for golfers to bring extra clothes, towels, and other items to help them deal with the weather conditions and ensure a pleasant experience while playing.

I wear joggers and golf pants from Fabletics. If you catch them at the right time you can get crazy good deals (30-40$) for pants. I wear the pants to work and regularly get compliments. I also have joggers from devereaux that I received as a gift that i love too.

Footjoy and UnderArmour for me. However that's just because I had those on deals. I am sure if others were on sale they would be more than fine!
