I just got the Mevo (older version), took me a bit to get the firmware updated, but also noticed the swing speed trainer…kind of excited about this!

I posted up earlier as I was getting ready to leave the house to run errands and didn't get to go into details about my range session today. 

Other than being reminded every time I changed clubs that I needed to update the firmware, it went pretty good. 

I was hitting the ball decently well and getting consistent numbers from the Mevo. 

I did goof up and set the PW to pick up and was seeing some numbers I would love to see out of my PW. It was like 135, 132, and I was wondering what on Earth was going on. Then I looked at the bottom of my club and saw a 7... oops. 

I still see I need to work on making better contact with the ball to optimize the numbers I see out of my clubs, but I'm happy with the results. 

I'm going to have to get out and see how accurate the new speed training numbers are, I think that's a cool thing that FlightScope added to the Mevo.

I think this will be a big selling point going forward for the Mevo, so I'm glad they finally listened to you and added it as a feature. With speed training getting as big as it is, I think adding the ability to speed train along the the launch monitor part is brilliant.

I think they are at a price point they want to be in.  As with anything these days, I'm sure it will have a jump but right now, no.  A lot of other LM out there with competing prices and options.

I think they would do a different unit for a higher cost not a software update.

Onky a few LM in this price range I would hope they would want to stay competitive in that.

I’ve been using the Mevo+ with The Stack for almost a year. The integration between the two makes speed training a breeze!

Yeah $150 off and then some pop up came up when I clicked on it for another 10% off. 

It may not have all the data but for that price is super easy to use and has a great baseline. I really liked my time with the Mevo.

The new app had a bunch of new features, haven’t played too much with it, but now can do speed training with it.

Great news about the speed training update! Let us know how the speed training system works with the MEVO @Owengeorge13! Great that they're making the unit more valuable with updates and from @Josh Parker's post, they're dropping the price!

Hey all. Haven't been here for a little while. I'm seriously considering buying the Mevo+ LE. I like that it comes with just about every option possible, E6 PC and iOS with some awesome courses, AND no subscription fees. It costs me $500 with tax to pay for GSPro and the 3rd party access right now and that's just out of my yearly budget. The sim purchase was definitely a one time thing where we had enough $ from the sale of a home.

I have a long garage so setup is not a problem for me It's all wood, no metal inside but has metal siding on the outside of the garage - do you think that will cause me problems with the radar? Concrete floor, Carl's 8x10 4:3 enclosure.

I plan to re-read all of the reviews etc one more time, but pretty much decided that I want to sell the Eye Mini and go with a Mevo +. I guess the only real downside is needing to use RCT balls. I have 3 dozen, however, so that should last me a LONG time.

Talk me into (or out of) doing this...

I don't think the metal on the outside of the home is going to affect the Mevo+.

It's really a great set up and when you have it dialed in and can leave it stationary, the accuracy is awesome.

Seems like you got it all figured out! I don't foresee any issues with your setup from what I can tell. Jealous of the space you have and can't wait to see the final setup!

It's been set up since November. I'm just thinking to move to the Mevo+. Here's is what it looks like now (note I raised the ceiling from 8' to 9'2" with those new beams):

Thanks all. It was a TON of work moving the beams up and getting everything working properly. Now it's fine tuning time. In fact, I removed some of my foam spacers and added a putting strip today. I read that the Mevo+ wants a really smooth transition as it watches the putts for a long time so trying to do that. Loving this new setup.
