May 30th to June 2nd

The details can all be found in the attached website. But the highlights are:

• 3 Days and 3 Rounds of golf-1 each on the Plantation, Woods and River course
• 3 Bedroom/3 Bath Condos
• Extra rounds and nights on an individual basis can be arranged as the date gets closer for those
• Cost $1180 Per Person All included,  $395 Deposit required Per Person

@GolfSpy_BEN and @Getoffmylawn will be handling a lot of the day to day details of the event, if you have any questions you want to ask offline just send a DM to all three of us and somebody will get back to you right way.  

Based on the last two years outings, we expect this to fill up pretty quickly  So don't hesitate.  It will be on a first come first pay basis.

Awesome, been waiting for this announcement since the last day of the Pinehurst meetup in 2023, which was somehow better than the Queenstown Harbor meetup in 2022.  Would not miss it  looking forward to seeing MGSpy friends already met and those yet to be met!

I also hate to miss it, as I love the Williamsburg area and Kingsmill Resort. However, we leave for Scotland and 6 rounds of golf at Open Championship and Top 100 (mostly Top 30) courses on May 24 and don’t return until June 10.

For those considering the trip and maybe doing some additional golf, the Williamsburg area is a great golf area.

the Golden Horseshoe comes in at 7, the Kingsmill River course is 13 and Royal New Kent is 19.

So... I'm back in, only if we get access to that Lazy River, this guy needs sweet sweet tube float time after rounds.

How do the rooms work? Says 3 bedroom villa. Is there 3 golfers staying together? Or everyone have a 3 bedroom villa?

If you are going to play more golf outside of the official outing, I highly recommend Golden Horseshoe, particularly the Gold Course although the Green Course is also quite nice (I have played both several times, and the Gold is clearly the gem). Royal New Kent is a nice course and a great challenge, but somewhat controversial as are most, if not all, Mike Strantz designs.

In the villas, there are 2 kings and 2 queens.   Obviously some people get their own room and for the room with the queen beds people just pick to room together.  So 4 people per villa.

Ok, I may need to make this my B-Day trip this year (big 5-0).

I'd need to stay an extra night though. I'll be driving in (8.5 hrs) on the 30th since there's no golf that day and would want to stay an extra night before heading out that next morning on the 3rd. Is that possible or would I need to go book a hotel room somewhere close by?

I’d pick the gold course too.  RNK is a great course and the one I play most often but it is hard and will kick your butt if you don’t know where to play like most Strantz designs.

i hope everyone enjoys their trip!

Little too out of my travel zone and budget at the moment. My sons wedding is a few days before that, and his bride to be insists on a traditional wedding (230+guests and counting) plus traveling the 3rd week for his college graduation.
