What Non-Golf YouTube Channels Do You Follow?

Title says it all, but what channels do you follow or subscribe to? Gaming? Music? Movies? Reactions? Comedy?

Not going to include what my kids end up watching - that deserves it's own thread -

Everything Great About - it's a channel that goes over movies and highlights all the great things about them from music, scenes, acting and more. Even not great movies it still highlights awesome things and has some running jokes or trends.

Risk gaming - I have always loved risk and the strategy behind it. This is the perfect background show for me and nice length videos.

Knox Hill - don't watch all but reactions to music and his insights. Breakdowns of lines and rhythm is awesome.

F1 content - gaming and more

Lots of other music and movie stuff... But that's the main stuff that is not golf related.

A fireman by trade, my favorite is Gettin Salty.  I’ll also listen to the EMS podcast which is run by a good friend locally.

Finance pods are Pomp, Dave Ramsey and Rachel Cruze.  I can’t get into pods TOO often, I don’t have a lot of spare time to dedicate 45-120 minutes into listening so I either chip away or save them for long car rides.

I follow a lot of YouTube channels, both golf and non-golf (music, automobiles, etc) but you are probably just interested in the golf-related channels, so here’s just a few:

• Club Champion (formerly TXG)
• Golf Liberty/ Matt Blois’s channel
• Rick Shiels (both of his channels)
• James Robinson Golf
• Peter Finch Golf
• Michael Newton Golf
• Let’s Play Thru
• The Average Golfer (although Andy Sullivan is beginning to wear thin, as is Gabe on Let’s Play Thru)
• Mark Crossfield
• and of course, MyGolfSpy!

The above list just barely scratches the surface, and if you add the channels of the major equipment manufacturers, it would probably double or triple

I could never list them all (probably about 80-100 non-golf YouTube channels, maybe even more), but they are generally musical and automotive channels (how-to and performance oriented channels plus musical artists’ channels and automobile reviews, tests and repair/upgrade channels, plus musical instruments, amplifiers, pedals and accessories channels). I think after typing that, my total is probably more like 125-150 non-golf channels!

Well, I responded regarding the 100+ non-golf YouTube channels that I follow and to which I subscribe, but I don’t list them.

I am a professional musician, in addition to being a professional clubfitter, so I subscribe to a lot of YouTube channels, both golf and non-golf related.

Tom Grossi – Tom, a Packers fan, just received NFL Fan of the Year award for his work on his YouTube channel and fundraising efforts. Great content all year round.

BBC Earth — animal clips, Attenborough-style.

Bob Ross — painting landscapes on a blank canvas in a mind-blowing, relaxing kind of way.

Brewstew: He is of similar age to me, animated cartoons that he narrates with his life stories. Both relatable and absolutely hilarious.

And lastly, Thrasher Magazine: I used to skateboard and man, talk about another sport that requires focus. Sheesh.

General Aviation (always wanted to fly) - Aviation 101, Baron Pilot, Mooney 201er, Premier 1 Driver, Blancolirio, Niko's Wings, DutchPilotGirl

Vehicle (all kinds) related (just my kind of brain candy) - Ron Pratt, Riding Shotgun, Happiness By The Mile, Wide World of Trains, Lawrie's Mechanical Marvels, Generation Tech, Real Engineering, Fractal Universe, Millennial Farmer, Kate's Ag, Ben Elias, Docuworld

Music - Aram Bedrosian, Gigi Vibes, Vince Guaraldi - and do a lot of searching by title.

Nothing stops me from bait clicking on dashcams of crashes, chases, or anything about science and the universe.  But everything is neglected for the most part once golf season kicks in.

• Bad Friends - One of my favorite podcasts
• Perkins Builder Brothers - General construction stuff. Again, this stuff just intrigues me and if I had to do it all over again I'd pursue this career.
• Mark Rober - I'm sure everyone knows this guy

Those are the channels I sort of watch religiously, but my YouTube is all over the place. Outside of golf, it's a lot of blue collar work, video games, lawn care, random gardening stuff, science... you name it.

I'm with you on this one. If I could do it all over again, I'd get my BS in Construction Mgmt and work for a custom home builder. I just love all the building stuff and floorplan layout design, and all that.

There is a lot to learn & MGS is a great teacher, LOL. 
I don't subscribe to anything on YouTube, I didn't realize subscribing was a popular method. It sounds naive.

I just use Youtube to listen to music during the day like: Easy Listening Piano & Classical Music, while working.

I follow way too many to list here, but the vast majority of non-golf I subscribe to are music production related or drumming/drum corps channels.

Been catching up on two of my favorite sailing channels, Sailing One Life and Sailing SV Delos.

Sailing One Life is an intriguing one because Gary is from Rochester NY and an engineer doing all his own work on his boat and in a refit last summer replaced whole structural panels on the boat, sealed parts of the hull and installed, repaired and fabricated a huge number of systems.  His wife Brooke is his perfect companion and she is a  really good sailor as is Gary evident on their Pacific crossing from the Sea of Cortez to French Polynesia on a 25 day passage.

Sailing SV Delos is one of the pioneers of YouTube sailing channels and they also did the same kind of refit to Delos in the same boat yard in Puerto Penasco, Mexico as One Life and did the crossing to the Marquesas a few weeks before One Life was ready to go.

They both met up again in an atoll in French Polynesia which is where the channels are currently.  If you are waiting for warmer weather and unable to go to the tropics to be there yourself, as I am unable, then these channels and their really well done episodes are guaranteed to be the next best thing to being there.  And their adventures while similar are strikingly different

I watch the Rick Beato channel.  I cant read a note of music but i like watching him break down a song and the music theory side of songs.  He also does fantastic long interviews of musicians i enjoy listening to.

I also watch wild and wonderful west virginia.  A couple that built their own off grid farm homestead from the ground up.  What they have been able to accomplish over the past 5 + years is amazing and the quality of their build is very impressive.

Other than that i use you tube to watch concert footage.  I have been on a steve hackett run lately as i went to his Foxtrot revisited concert recently.
