It would be interesting to see how the two compare in spin produced. They look very similar besides the bead blasted face. I too have to agree that I prefer the bead blasted look, although I can imagine that if I played each for 10 rounds I would then prefer the non-bead blasted look.

Finish doesn't impact spin.

Doubley true if you were thinking of rusty wedges spinning more then non at the time of writing. They don't.

That is just a finish? My bad. I was thinking it was like the spin milling almost, adding a different edge on the bead blasted face with more friction.

No, bead blasted, spin milled, none of those add friction to increase spin. They're to ensure that the face is perfectly flat. Which is the may spin is generated.

The Gorge wedges are really really good from what I've been told by a junior who's sponsored by them's father. He said his son made the switch after hitting them the first time at Ping HQ when they were dialing his stuff in recently.

In The Bag
Driver: TaylorMade M2 (2017) w/ Project X T1100 HZRDUS Handcrafted 65x
Strong 3 wood: Taylormade M1 15* w/ ProjectX T1100 HZRDUS handcrafted 75x
3 Hybrid: Adams PRO 18* w/ KBS Tour Hybrid S flex tipped 1/2"
4 Hybrid: Adams PRO 20* (bent to 21*) w/ KBS Tour Hybrid S flex tipped 1/2"
4-AW: TaylorMade P770 w/ Dynamic Gold Tour Issue Black Onyx S400

SW: 56* Scratch Tour Dept(CC grooves) w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner
LW: 60* Scratch Tour Department (CC grooves) w/ Dynamic Gold Spinner
XW: 64* Cally XForged Vintage w/ DG X100 8 iron tiger stepped
Putter: Nike Method Prototype 006 at 34"

Have a ton of back-ups in all categories, but there are always 14 clubs in the bag that differ depending on the course and set-up. Bomb and gouge. Yes, I'm a club gigolo.

Oh, that makes sense. Thanks, guess I was wrong all along. Why then did they make the old spin milled vokeys illegal than?
