All of you have some awesome WITB's. Great start guys, looking forward to your reviews on both models, particularly the PRO version since its more comparable to the Pro V1.

I'm about 3 dozen in on my Pro Plus Neon Reds. It's comparable and a great deal when buying more than one box. I do not recommend getting the Neon color as my balls look more pink and to some orange. Also there is gaps in the color covering on the ball. Find iron distances a bit shorter than the Bridgestones I commonly use.

My WITB will hopefully be a bit different by the end of the year - my gap wedge's grooves are almost gone! Might get a new driver & putter at some stage too.

Yesterday was my first practice experience with the Vice ball - Pro Soft.

  • The matte finish was very disconcerting and even putting caused grass stains on the balls. I've never been bothered in the least with glare from balls or from my chrome forged irons, so I'm not inclined to appreciate the dull ball finish.
  • Feel: Comparing the balls to my usual Pro V1, they felt as soft in short chips but seemed a little harsher on pitches. They did seem as soft or even softer off the putter face, as I saw a need to hit a bit harder on longer putts.
  • I can't yet speak to distance from full shots yet but hope to address that later in the week.

Of course, price is a difference, but performance outweighs that element for me, so I'm willing to keep the test going. If they made these in a gloss finish, I'd be happier - just to see a cleaner ball shot after shot. A matte finish is not a great idea, to my eye and in my mind.

Geez.. the worst we have up here is deer on the course, If you head up north you might get a black bear once in a while.

Best thing that I've had happen is a red fox ran across the course and my buddy said "hey look guys a little Lion!" and he was dead serious! Too funny.

You can own a gun in Hawaii but I don't believe you can open carry or concealed, so I think I would have to be "hunting" to shoot it? I don't know, guns are scary, even though I have done recreational shooting, it's just not my thing to own something that can end someone or something. That's another topic for another time, though.

The pigs aren't bad. They just want food and won't be aggressive unless you threaten a baby one, and the mother doesn't like it. I wouldn't have run away when it started running towards us if it wasn't so muddy. It was funny to see it rub against the cart and start shaking the hell out of it though!

One did get shot, it lived in the trees by the 17th green. It used to wait till a ball came to rest on the green and then push it off using it's beak. It would then jump up and down like it was laughing at you.

I wasn't trying to be political or anything, with my remark. I just thought they were like the nasty ones here. You could get one and turn it into a pet😉

For sure, wasn't trying to go on a tangent, although I did kinda.

They get aggressive and can be dangerous for sure, but none of the ones we saw had tusks. They just wanted some food, and goldfish crackers weren't cutting it.

Great stage ones here. All of you guys have way nicer sticks than I bag. I am curious what yungkory and Jay_Nick1 think of the vice balls since I also tend to game the Nike tour black and have to find something else to fill my golf bag now. The random lost ball replacements I find on the course can't cut it forever!
