Just realized I rolled my post count over to a new digit column. As someone who generally eschews social media platforms, the notion of such a large, active and idyllic community on the webz was unfathomable. Never have I derived so much happiness from being wrong.

 

I won't subject my fellow Spies to another loquacious missive - just wanted to say a quick heartfelt 'Thank You' for all the good times and camaraderie.

Congratulations on reaching 1,000.   I'm not long from passing that threshold myself and it feels good.   There was a sports caster in Baltimore named Chuck Thompson and to him every Baltimore player was either "a fine young rookie" or a "grand old pro".    While I have always felt welcomed on this site, having broken 1,000 post threshold, I guess I would say, I no longer felt like a fine young rookie, but became a grand old pro of posting.  But I know I have a long way to go, to ever be considered an all star or hall of fame worthy.
