A fine good morning to all.  Beautiful sunny morning here in the greater Toronto area.  Today is a gardening and pickleball day.  I am thoroughly, enjoying the opportunity to test the L.A.B. DF3 putter.  Two things so far have stood out in limited testing.  How good it is inside 10 feet and its distance control.  Enjoy your day.

Morning All,

Woke up at 6 made coffee. Wife wanted to go to the animal swap this morning so we did that…she got more chickens. It’s a Saturday and we haven’t had a Saturday to spend with each other in a while, so no golf today. Did hit the range yesterday as the course was super busy and I wasn’t going to wait 2 hours to get a tee time. It went well. Range balls were surprisingly going over 250 on the fly. Going to hopefully get a round of 9 in before my scramble this coming Friday. If not I’ll just be fresh and ready to go. Have to go get a new belt for the lawn mower, that will be fun to do. Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning all! 

It's a beautiful morning here in TN with temps in the 50's and a predicted high of 75. I've got more yard work on the agenda for today which will include weed eating and clearing out flower beds. It's the will of SWMBO to clean up the yard and I guess that's what we'll be doing. 

It's better than the alternative, I was originally scheduled to do today and that was work. Management decided it was more beneficial to calibrate the cockpit manipulator and cancelled work. 

I'm getting really excited for the Kingsmill trip as it's inching closer by the minute. 

@EasyPutter I hope the poncho keeps you dry as you replace wheel bearings as it doesn't sound like fun to get wet while doing repairs.

Good morning all! It's a chilly but sunny day here, I'm sipping coffee #2 while the cat dozes in my lap. No golf on the radar for me this weekend, I still have a ton of catch-up work to do in the yard and around the house that always gets neglected every year when we're running around every weekend for indoor percussion competition season. I've got to help my son out with some college paperwork today then tomorrow will be spent visiting the moms. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good morning Spies! Was working on the Laramie house last night and didn’t get back to Cheyenne until 11. 

The spousal unit is up before me for the first time in what seems like a millennia!

She’s already out the door and on her way back to the Laramie house to do more work. I guess I need to get off my arse and get moving. Have to move some couches over to that house and do some electrical stuff. No golf today unfortunately. This little funny says it all!

Good morning Spies on a cool and now drizzling Saturday.

I did get up earlier and managed to get a quick 9 hole round in this morning already, and the rain drops started to fall as we were on the 9th tee box.

Supposed to rain off and on all day, and with the frequency of rainy days here, it was my best opportunity to get on the course.

Best of luck @EasyPutter getting the repairs completed in a timely manner so you don't get too wet.

@Woodrow72 glad the trek back north was completed without issues other than the weather.

Hope that all here have the best day they possibly can, no matter what is in the plans or on the agenda. That something enjoyable and fun may also be in your plans.

Beautiful and cool start to the day this morning. Coffee is good going down but I'm getting the unnerving stare from the "mistress of mayhem" and like others have noted today, I have no idea what it's about...

@Rob Person sorry to hear of your son's injuries but also glad to hear they weren't any worse. Thoughts remain with him, you, and your family.

Hopefully will be able to sneak off to the range this afternoon for a little work on swing change but that remains to be seen.

@sirchunksalot looks like I will be joining you in the adventurous past time of yard work today as I was just informed what the stare was about...

Well, that probably also means "fat chance" for the range as this will undoubtedly lead to me cooking later as well...

Good morning spies! Off to take the trailer for a spin in a few minutes before traffic picks up. Then I will start on building the trailer simulator to take to the dealership and show them the trouble is in the truck. That is of course if I can make it work. @Rob Person I will drop the spare and see what lives under there!

Had a great round yesterday. A lot more like my normal round. 44 on the front -not so good- and a 39 on the back - only 2 over on the back- . With one birdie on a 500 yard par 5. It was good fun. Depending on what I find with the trailer I should go to the range, but may find myself on the bike trails pedaling 30 to 40 miles with Richard Sharpe and Bernard Cornwell's Sharpe's Command through Audible and my earbuds.

Morning all! Great morning in OK today as I’m drinking some iced coffee on the porch overlooking the golf course. I’m hoping to play a late round today after the OKC Thunder game but that’ll depend on family plans and also how I feel after said game haha! Have a great Saturday everyone!

Packing up for a weekend at the beach. Was invited to play 18 at Galveston CC but learned my clubs don’t fit in my wife’s SUV and we are planing to spend time with her family. So I packed a few wedges and a cup and pin set.

I enjoyed this series too, Hornblower Saga (12 books) by C S Forester.  Similar to Sharpe but on the water

Good morning Spies,

It's been moist in in CNY. My morning cuppas went down nicely. The community garage sale is in full swing. My amazing wife raised some money for the SPCA yesterday and is doing the same today. I'm her "gopher". With the rain break this morning I was able to perform "pool boy" duties. The green is gone but it's a tad cloudy.

The L.A.B. Golf test is in full swing and not gonna lie this group of testers I am lucky to be a part of has been a lot of fun. This test has definitely captured the humor that can be found in our sport of choice.

Good morning spies. Took today off as we didnt leave the ER until after 0200.   Nothing broken, but his knee did separate and was reset. Bruised ribs both sides, and complete muscle back strains. He is very sore! Thank you all for the well wishes!!!

So with being up nearly 24 hours, I still only slept about 4 hours. I feel good though.  

I will be escorting the lady boss out to an early mothers day dinner this evening, as I am back on duty tomorrow. 

Maybe I Will mow the lawns today... maybe not.

It's a beautiful sunny morning here. It's a little chilly, but the sun is out, so I'm not complaining.

18 set for tomorrow morning and it should be a bit warmer than now. Likely still cart path only, but that's OK. I'll just work on my aim control.

I have a two day Zone 5 (southern Vancouver Island) tournament this weekend. 
1st round in Cowichan (north of Victoria about an hour) and the second round at Uplands in Oak Bay. 
looking forward to the competition

1.enough water and hydrate 

2.have my golf balls marked

3. have gloves, tees, ball markers (all the regular tools you use)

4. I like to clean or polish my shoes for the weekend.

Been up watching the Wells Fargo today with nothing crazy planned except taking in my Accra shaft and having a Star Grip put on it (I really should learn how to do this myself, soon enough). Excited to put it in the Qi10 Max and give it a go on the course this week!

Good afternoon Spies! The same weather system that forced the delay at the Wells Fargo yesterday came across the Casa last night and we got quite the light show. Not the northern lights, unfortunately @ZJeb67, although I see on Twitter that they were visible at Clemson, SC, last night. I retain slim hope that maybe I'll get to see those in the Highlands in July, but 18+ hours of daylight that time of year make that unlikely. Lots of honey-dos last night so no workout or other golf activities. Planning to get a Rypstick and a FFG workout done today before I leave town again tomorrow.

With about 27 hours to go I still have the top bid on eBay for the DF 2.1 putter. I'm about as high as I'm willing to bid, but if I'm outbid, there's another 2.1 with an auction ending tomorrow that is cheaper at this point. I'm also watching it and will pivot to that if needed/feasible. There is also a buy-it-now 2.1 which would cost about the same as my max bid on the current auction.

GF got her Mother's Day surprise this morning and was suitably pleased. So was my mom. I have brownie points for a while.

@GolfSpy_KFT I'm reminded of a May fishing trip I took in Wisconsin a while back, playing hooky from a medical conference in Minneapolis. I believe we went to Rice Lake. I caught one crappie (or as we pronounced it in Lower Arkansas, croppie). Might be the last time I actually caught a fish. If I'm gonna be out in the elements for several hours, I prefer it to be with my 8-iron.

Speaking of the HIghlands, I booked a spot in a seniors Stableford at Golspie Golf Club during my trip. That will be five tournaments in 9 days. I haven't played five tournaments in my entire life. The first one was a match play; I was dormie with three holes to play and on the fringe while my opponent was out in the woods somewhere, but I choked it, lost the last three holes and lost the 19th hole. That was my match play career. Hopefully I handle Stableford better.

I won't pretend to know enough of the details to understand the overall extent of the situation, but it's definitely forced some changes around the daily lives so far. My wife is taking it pretty hard considering we are still waiting on even a proper diagnosis, but she is the type to immediately think of worst case scenario.

Sorry about your FIL. Prayers for a positive outcome.
