Good Friday morning, starting out chilly again today 47° but going get close to 70° by afternoon though we will be done playing by 12:30 and at our favorite gathering place by 1 for an hour or so of confab and lunch parings , may you all have splendid days with blessings

Good morning Spies on a TGIUF, cool, damp, and cloudy Michigan morning.

Not a zero-commute workday for me, but knowing what I must get done here at the facility, I may be able to leave earlier than normal and finish up from home and over the weekend too.

Sunshine reported for both Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures approaching 40 - 45, so more than likely I hope, another range practice session as well.

Was glad to hear @cnosil on the Community Call yesterday, and now hoping for his speedy and complete recovery.

Maker your day the best it can be, no matter what may be in your plans, and hopefully something enjoyable is included in them.

Good morning all!

Up and at 'em early this morning trying to help finalize a report write up for today. Wife also go up early this morning to get a walk in with a friend which is great. Happy its Friday and looks like it should be a great weekend weather wise, so hopefully we can get out for some skiing.

It’s FRIDAYYYYYYY!!!!  Good morning spies. I’m stoked that it’s Friday, I slept through the night (haven’t been doing that much as of late), and as far as I know I don’t have to work tomorrow. Might try to sleep in.

High of 43° today but it should be around 50° for the weekend so I should be able to get some things done outside. Working on a little golf grip experiment to see what I like better and it would be a great weekend to hit some balls even if it’s chipping in the backyard. Maybe I can get lucky enough to fund a range open.

Glad that you surgery went well @cnosil and hope that you recovery is quick.

Good morning MGSpies from damp cold WNY on this first Friday of February where each day is one less before golf season starts up again in these parts  work computer just connected to network and coffee ready to go so the day has begun  community call was fabulous with as many as 27 of us on at one point I saw, could be a new high attendance, great that Chris @cnosil was with us and so many others joining in at times, it really is a favorite part of my week.  Looking forward to what unfolds today and hope golf is a part of your day 

edit:  Forgot to mention Jamie @GolfSpy_APH did an awesome job with the Forum Badges, don't they look awesome now?!

Good Friday to all the good folks of MGS! Pretty light day at the office today for me. Hoping desperately that the schedule stays light and I can get some indoor putting practice in. The schedule has been hectic which means I haven't been able to get any speed work in but if I'm real lucky I'll be able to grab the SuperSpeed set and get a quick speed session in as well. Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Good morning all on this ground hog day, waiting to hear if we have 6 more weeks of winter or an early spring. We really haven't had a bad winter anyways. Haven't fired up the snowblower once yet and it really doesn't break my heart. Hopefully it can hold off for 4 more weeks and we will be in Arizona till the end of March. Supposed to be 50 and sunny this weekend, time to get the Christmas lights down. Have a great weekend everyone.

Well, I’m hitting the course today. It’s going to be a chilly one, but I need to get out and play a round. I have been using the vice tour balls, but I just tested out some Wilson triad balls and they seemed to work a little better. Naturally it was on a launch monitor so going to go take it to the course and see if it holds up there.

It’ is Friday my spies … Groundhog Day and like the proverbial bad penny, I am back, at least for awhile. 
  Been a rather ultra Mexican Novella around here the last couple of weeks. Illness for me and the wife person. The illness and injury bug also decimated the ranks of the Ancient Agers and friends. Looking like more than a couple of the Ancients will be hard pressed to ever play another round of golf. Work is a major cluster, resulting in some RIFing. While I am not a c-suite type in this outfit, I do have a little sway in trying to save a couple of the young ones. 
    My medical issues have not been as nearly as serious as what some of our fellow spies, their spouses, and offspring have been going through. I did raise the the terrifying prospect of me possibly looking into getting some “ skinny jeans “. Fortunately, the weight lose has stopped and I am actually gaining back some weight. Blood work is still wonky. Rather anemic… after testing and more invasive procedures and taking biopsies seemingly from everywhere in my body.. The current best guess is that I am having issues with absorption of nutrients. This is the supposed cause for my significant loss of strength, stamina, and stability. If I lose much more distance in my golf game it will be difficult for me to get on a putt-putt hole in regulation. Anyhow we are muddling through. Headed to work then back to Houston in 10 days to the Mecca of medicine in Texas. 
   Remember my friends, life is about choices and sometimes……

Hopefully you can use this Friday to launch into a weekend of your wanting.

Already up and out (7:30 appointment to get my car serviced).  Mother Nature is being a tease — just warm enough to start melting snow and let my home course show its green but not able to play it yet.

Got an 8:10 tee time with some friends on our wet course.  Not sure if I make all 18 holes, but the coffee with Kirkland Irish Cream in bed is a good start.  Cheers… everyone!!

In other news met up with an old friend last night .. aside from dogs, wives, diet and exercise, why we don't windsurf anymore and why I don't ski anymore, etc etc...

.. a lot of the discussion was around golf - including practice, equipment and actually how we're planning to get out and just play the game this season; e.g. trying to overcome all our mental hurdles holding us back...

Well we'll see about that..!

Fun round yesterday afternoon.  Ive pretty much convinced myself I need a driver fitting though.  got to watch multiple driver shots balloon into the wind.  Worked out on a few holes keeping me out of hazards though haha.

Played the course with my usual driver setting of +.75* (11.25* loft total), so the next round I get out for im going to try -.75* and see what happens (drvier at 9.75* loft) should be a fun experiment.

Anyone done a driver fitting or spun the ball too much, observations? Thoughts?

Good morning all! Knocking out a bit of invoicing work this morning maybe play a little EASPORTS PGA TOUR while I do that . Then off to GG for a QI10 fitting! Not going to order today gonna wait until closer to Memorial Day, if I don’t get to test one of them out, TM has a Vet/Mil/first responder discount that goes up to 25% a few times a year. While I want one bad just gotta fight the urge to impulse buy . Everyone that gets out today good luck and go low.

Up early today to hit the gym. Now time to run all over town to get financial information for the 9 pending gaming license applications I have had to file in the last month. Was looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow until I remembered my son has the county wrestling tournament so I will again be up at the crack of dawn. Could possibly be he last high school match so not complaining just grumbling.

I just got fitted last weekend and got my spin numbers to around 2800, my dispersion tightened up to around 50 yards from 80 yards (mostly pull draws about 20 yards left but about 1/8 I'll leave the face open and fade it - not a slice any more).  Go get fitted!

Morning Spies, pretty decent day and forecast here (if 40's and 50's can be called that) in sunny Chicagoland. Certainly for Feb it could be worse. Just more work on the sim today, getting the last few details done.  This final permit process seems to be taking forever, but will get there. Hope you all have a great day.

Good morning! One last day of getting kids up and off to school. It's a good thing, because if I got one more complaint about my peanut butter to bread ratio I swear I was going to start cracking skulls.

Going to try to get leg day in at the gym, but it might have to wait until tomorrow. Heading to the sim tonight and I can't wait to break out the new long sticks and see what I can do with them!

ooo GG is doing a free fitting for the Qi driver tomorrow too. hmmmmmm stupid tempting to go give it a hit, problem being I want to hit more than just that
