It is pretty easy on a computer.   I have the call link bookmarked and when i go to the site there are icons that let you turn the camera/mic on and off.   Worst case is that you get a prompt to allow the page to access your mic and camera.    That is the advantage of the call being on google meet.

A Very Good Morning to you Spies,

Today is the Grand Opening for my new Golf Sim business, Highwood Private Fairway. It's a single bay Trackman oriented towards private membership. If you are anywhere near Highwood Illinois come by and say Hi! Lots of work, as you have seen in my posts, and it's all done (mostly LOL) so looking forward to this. Might even help my golf game

Good Saturday morning spies!

Another beautiful day on tap and unfortunately this is yardwork day so no golfing activities on the agenda. Who knows maybe I can finish a little early and get some net time in. 

@Wheelieb hope your ankle heals quickly as I recall how painful a sprain like that can be.

It's only a 4-5 hour drive, see you around 6 @Josh Parker! 

@Marlin Dave Those pictures bring back some fond memories of a couple of trips to Boca Grande for Tarpon. They were great experiences!

Good morning spy's

Another day at the golf course however just a day with my grandkids, 2 of them have lessons starting at 1130 PST and one just comes to hit balls, then we will head to Popey's chicken for lunch then to the YMCA for a swim, I love my saturday's with my grandkids, a time will come when they don't want to hang around with old papa so I will take advantage of these moments. 

I was invited to play with the "local big shots" this morning but was happy to decline based on family time, I can beat those guys another day lol...

Morning all! Had a great day yesterday - golf at my local executive course where I finally put together a round I was mostly pleased with, then grocery shopping/errands, then movie night with the fam. Always love Fridays. 

This morning I woke up inspired and whipped up some brioche french toast that the kids (and wife) devoured, so feeling pretty pleased with myself, lol. 

Taking the kids to a play this afternoon, and then finishing up an article for the main site, so busy day ahead of me!

All this talk about cooking and smoking meats finally got me motivated to season my smoker. I'm running an hour long cycle with wood chips and water as recommended in the owners manual. 

I'm also taking the opportunity to get to know how to adjust it to get the temperature just right to make some savory dishes. I can't wait to put it to use.

Good evening Spies!

I know it's a morning thread, but I totally forgot when I got up and went to the gym right away, then got home and basically died. :-D I am so out of shape, but I AM working on it. Although tomorrow and Monday aren't going to be happy wake ups.

Although the workout was a welcomed one, the news on our local pizzeria was not. I went by to grab some delicious thin crust pizza when I saw a note on the door stating it was closed until further notice. I hope it's nothing super serious or permanent as there isn't another quality place close enough that the pizza won't be cold when I get home. And the frozen stuff at the grocery store just doesn't cut it.

Anyway, everyone have a wonderful evening.

Good morning spies, this weekend went by waaayyyyy tooo quick! Operation yard work was a success yesterday,  9 hours of raking, yard sweeping,  mulching, and moving what seemed, a literal ton, of leaves and pine needles! The gas blower was a no go, so I needed up buying a 40v blower. Wow did that make a difference!

Golf on the tee box this morning,  we are playing the short course for the last time, as they are shutting it down for a year to redo it from tee to green completely.  It hasn't had an update since 1992, and it's in desperate need of it.

Good Sunday morning to one and all , our typical Sunday couples group got shut out of the selection this week , executive tee times are at an extreme premium here in the Villages during the winter , access is based on a point system where the more you play the further down the list you fall consequently we missed out on a time that could accommodate the whole group so I get a bonus gym day and we shall meet for lunch . I hope all have a great day enjoying whatever you choose to attempt . Be kind,thankful, and blessed

Good morning Spies on the last Sunday of February 2024 from the Motor City area.

Today we will have a cloudy, windy and mid 40's day, but should see 50's for the high temperatures as the next 7 days unfold.

My plans for today are to go to the range later, maybe even get in a SIM round, and just make the best of my "winter golf season" here.

Next weekend temperatures look to be mid 50's to 60 degrees and sunny, but there will be no golf related things on my schedule as it also is the weekend for the Detroit Autorama.

As usual, for the car loving members here, I will also post a link to pictures of that event after I get back.

@MattWillGolf I hope your day and the events yesterday went spectacular, and that your son, his bride, and all of your family and friends who were there cherish those moments forever. 

@RockerFCC hope your opening day was a huge success, and maybe I can make a road trip there over the summer.

Hope that your day is the best it possibly can be, and that something fun and enjoyable may be in your plans.

It's frosty out this morning but the weather forecast is calling for a high of 62. I think I might have to go to the range after grocery shopping. I need to get some work in on the chipping and putting greens. 

@berkeleybob I love the photos and it looks like it was a good morning for a walk. Your pup is beautiful and very photogenic.
