Good morning Spies,

Uppa with a cuppa on this snowy morning in CNY. We are in the 3-6” band for the white stuff. Not much on tap for today. SWMBO will going to a baby shower at our neighbor’s house. I will probably just hunker down with a beer and watch some basketball. I see that Kentucky and Auburn flushed the mouse. But first will have to fire up the snow blower. There will be leftover pizza for lunch which is always good.

Good morning Spies on a cold and snow covered Saturday here in S.E. Michigan.

Getting to the mid 30's today and upper 30's tomorrow so some will melt away, but next week we will see 50's and rain so hopefully that washes it all away, and we are done for this spring season with the white stuff.

Later start, extra sleep was needed and felt good to get. Hoping to get to Carl's for their heated range later this afternoon, or evening, but need to do some things around the house first.

Hope that everyone has a great day / weekend, and that something fun or enjoyable is in your plans.

That day we had in the 70s a few weeks ago seriously messed with my head. I was all prepared for spring and golf of course.

2nd round this week, normally never get to go twice in a week. Thursday I didn't wear my Galway Bay jacket and regretted it the whole front nine as it was windy and cold. Never going to leave it at home as it keeps you warm as well as dry.

Good Morning MGS Troops! 

hard to wake up this morning. Spousal unit still has no results yet. They said Tuesday or Wednesday now. Dr’s are not what they used to be. 

On a happier note, yesterday’s fitting was awesome! Learned, or should I say re-learned some stuff. 

Now I just have to practice. Playing today so we’ll see how it goes. Happy birdie hunting and have a blessed day!

Morning everyone!

like a lot of other spies have said it’s a poop weather day.. 5-6” of rain expected here and the in-laws will be snowed in so won’t make it here today. 

curious, for those of you without indoor practice space what types of drills/practice are you capable of doing? I’ll be doing a ton of stretching the next couple of days.. post Pinehurst I’m really sore haha, but I’m looking for some ways to practice simple things at home between meetings.

In-laws are right there with you.. just outside of Cooperstown. I’ve never seen my FIL soooo pissed about having to shovel haha. They were supposed to be headed here (Va) for spring break and see they grandkids.. Mother Nature had a different plan.

I'm glad to hear the fitting went well and you know it's a good one when you come out of it learning something.

Hopefully you'll hear some good news from the doctor new week about your wife. I hate they're making you wait, I know it's got to be stressful.

Mirror drills!!!  If you have a full length mirror (got mine at thrift store for 4$) you can work on all kinds of stuff. Swing,  hand and body position,  rotation,  etc. You don't even need a club. I once used the 4' ceiling fan duster to practice!

Putting is always an easy one too!

Yeah, MSGenesis. It’s not TriCare, it’s the referral Dr and imaging. They sent the imaging but not the results. Big confusion on their part as they said the results were sent. So began the phone calls and frustration with TOPA and primary care only to find out Cheyenne imaging misled us. Tuesday or Wednesday now.

Thank you. Yeah, it’s stressful. I can’t imagine how the spousal unit is feeling. As a hubby it’s hard to know she’s keeping a smile but know that she’s worried. Kids have been very supportive too and her friends are all over it. Good support system for her.

Good Morning from holy cow can you say 'super soaker rain'

Started coming down heavy late last night and has continued steady so far .. and looks to continue through today into tonight...

After the past few months plus this storm, one would hope the water aquifers are getting recharged!!

Naturally course is closed today, but hopefully we can get out tomorrow..?

Tonight is a friend's surprise 60th .. that number is coming up a lot this year in my wife's friends groups; all my old man buddies already passed that mark

Good morning everyone. A brisk 24° this morning and the next several days doesn’t look to get much better. Busy weekend with Caddy meetings at Arbor Links and family get togethers means no golf until maybe next weekend. Glad I was able to sneak in a couple 9 hole rounds after work for my VCT scores. More info on these in a different thread. Sounds like a mix of nasty spring and winter weather everywhere today. Hope some sun is shining somewhere so a few of us are able to hit the links.

And on the fun side .. @sirchunksalot I'd never seen or heard of a Five Below until a few weeks ago I went to a clinic at an X Golf and there's one of those right next door. Yeah even though it's all low cost ya better be careful in there - looks like a lotta fun stuff!!

I definitely have to be careful taking the wife in there, she might bankrupt me. It's a pretty fun time, I usually don't walk out of there with stuff, but the danger for me is the T.J. Maxx in the same plaza.

Our middle of 5 children turns 14 today.  I am not sure how that happened.  Pretty sure that it is not right and she’s only 8.

My ceilings are too short for full swing so I chip  almost golf balls and work on putting.    If you have a garage or large indoor space,  you can do everything from working on swing positions to playing SIM golf.      It all depends on how dedicated you want to be.  I laughed when this LPGA pro popped up in my instagram feed;  shows a sample of a low tech solution.

Good morning Spies!!! We're in Myrtle Beach!!! Played 36 yesterday, but got rained out this morning. This afternoon is looking good to play Aberdeen!

Good morning spies! Ooooo did I have a round going yesterday. 1 over after 10 holes, short 20 foot chip for my third shot on a long par 5 setting up my putter that was absolutely perfect so far...

And my wife calls me. She never calls when I am golfing or fishing unless it is something seriously wrong. I am walking and my golf cart is all the way across the golf course from where I am at the moment. 

She has had a sudden and unforeseen bout of vertigo. It put her to her knees and then to the floor and that's where I found her. On the floor clutching a garbage can. Every time she moved her stomach roiled violently. I cannot get her to the car. She went liquid when I tried to sit her up. 

6 hours later we are home after a full moon Friday night at the emergency room. She has been given a pill to get rid of the vertigo and it seems to work. This morning she is still a little wobbly, but ambulatory without aid. 

So today is more targeted video with the 9000. Looking to show how center of gravity balanced finishes on a relatively flat 15 foot putt. This time inside an enclosure made of tees that has been measured, and that measurement is part of the video. I have done this a couple of times, but without the reference, the measured tees, the video looks fake.
