I played with the tournament organizer who is 87 and he putted lights out for us except those two holes.  He putts with an old Zebra putter that looks like it’s almost as old as he is..  We tried to have him putt the last putt so we could have the rest of us get off the tee box on the next one. It worked pretty well for us.

This is a very good morning indeed! 

Last night and yesterday were rough. First official day back from Fatherhood leave and put in 14 hours at the hall fixing countless issues. Unfortunately when I left after 9pm last night the whole refrigeration system failed again. A board member was here so I tasked him with resolving the issue (his department on the board)... truly didn't know what I was going to be walking into this morning. A puddle, ice or just a pool haha... thankfully we have ice!

Now ice is done and time to hit the course for the first time in two weeks!

@GolfSpy_APH I'm happy to hear you finally got positive resolution to the situation at the curling hall and you'll finally be able to hit the course. Have fun out there, you've earned it.

@OdinSnipes414 you've got a task in catching up in the Cobra Anniversary challenge, all I can say is have fun and go low.

Hoping to get on the community call later from work, and the Rocket Mortgage Classic starts for score this AM too.

Good morning MGSpies on this Community Call Thursday from beautiful WNY  hot coffee starting the zero commute day in the warm basement office (complete opposite of winter in EPland as SWMBO had the a/c cranking overnight)  Smoke from fires elsewhere had air quality low enough to cancel the PGA HOPE session last evening and it smells like the campfire is directly upwind but it is everywhere across the region, perhaps the iconic event of 2023?

Definitely a few sore muscles after a lot of golf yesterday - R&R day today!

In the Senior Open have my fingers crossed for Monte Scheinblum - he's been working to get back into top level comps and it'd be nice to see him do well! (..and especially considering my next clinic with him is coming up in one week!)

OOOD MORNING from beatifyl Westlake Golf & CC in Jackson NJ...

Sun is shining, dog has been walked and fed, "recovering" from dinner last night, gertting ready to take son tot he oral surgeon (he is 41...lol).

Have meetings later in the day and then maybe...just maybe...I can get in a fast 9.....We lice on the course.

Life is beautiful...be thankful for every day and every smile.......and once in a while a great approach shot or that 30 foot putt that keeps us coming back

Good morning all from another smoky southwestern Wisconsin morning. Myles’ first tee program got cancelled for the morning as air quality index is still north of 250 so he’s bummed about that. Yesterday, though, the head pro asked my wife and I if we would be interested in having him play in a fundraiser for the RCC First Tee Program. The theme for him is going to be “Miles for Myles” where donors can sponsor him X amount of dollars and for every mile he covers on the course, they will donate that amount. It is Tuesday, July 18th and he is SUPER excited. It’s going to be a really fun day caddying for him around the golf course! If anyone would be interested in sponsoring him, please let me know and I can find out what I’d need to do to go about that from our pro. Absolutely no pressure, though, as the head pro takes care of finding sponsors for the most part.

Good morning everyone. Got out for just a bit of paddle boarding before the weather moved in yesterday, but everyone seemed to have a blast. Kids are likely off to a playground or indoor museum as they call it though it is just basically an oversized play room. Getting the workday rolling and looking forward to another great day. Good morning everyone! onto I think might be my second POT of coffee. Unfortunately the baby is still getting up every couple of hours. makes for very early morning and very tired nights. We are also seeing a little bit of the wildfire smoke in CNY so walks with her is out of the question. Working from home so I'll be able to mix in some more forum activity which is always a plus. Vacation starts Saturday so let the hunger games of packing commence!

Yeah know that feeling. Between the new one last night and Ivan having these little night terrors we were up till 2am and my alarm went off at 5am. 

Actually surprised I managed to play as well as I did after 3 hours of sleep and work then golf.

make sure you get to the top of the library for the view from the tower! It's quite the campus.
