I know that area.  My wife and I travel to Annapolis fairly frequently.

I love it! Lol. There are (VERY) preliminary talks happening - might not be mid-Atlantic, or there might be the option for more than  one. We'll definitely keep everyone posted!

I don’t care where, I’m already stashing money aside to make the next one. Probably couldn’t do it if it were a Europe location (but damn would I try really hard), but I’m in if it’s stateside/Canada.

If we could put together a trip to Erin Hills, Whistling Straights or Stevens Point as a group I would die a happy man. Kicking myself after missing out on Pinehurst.

Mix in Sand Valley and SWMBO might murder me but I’d cross off about half of my bucket list. Links of Lawsonia in Green Lake, WI is also exceptional and very reasonable greens fees!

Bang for your Buck, Sentry World is tough to beat. Spaced out tee times, all inclusive cost structure where once you pay your greens fee it covers all on course F&B, and they have on-site lodging. I believe it’s $325/round. SV is definitely more expensive, but the views there… and the golf from what I’ve heard is top notch. I played the short course a few weeks ago on a buddies trip and it was the most fun I’ve ever had on a golf course. I have full intentions of playing Mammoth Dunes next summer.

I can get behind this as well. Did a trip down there some years back, though oddly enough the courses we played were all across the border in NC

I've heard nothing but good things about MB, but I believe the goal is to have it in a different locale (vs Mid-Atlantic again) so that it's more central and/or a different scene (PNW/AZ/MidWest, etc).

French Lick, IN could be an option. Fairly central and there are Pete Dye and Donald Ross courses on property

I could be talked into that too. Drove down from Omaha to play three rounds over spring break. One round at Caledonia for sure.

I can definitely recommend French Lick Resort for the stay and the golf, even has a 9 hole course on the property without having to travel to the Ross or Dye courses for a social round when it fits in the schedule.

Centrally located for MO to OH and WI to KY crowd who don't want to drive as far as I will - and yes it is nicely in my driving travel distance, played there in 2022 with the Stick & Hack Club

Branson Missouri is also a good option. The courses are a little pricey probably like Pinehurst was but there are a lot of things to do in the area as well.

At this point, there aren’t too many potential destinations that are a hard no. 
 

Europe would be an enormous ask of SWMBO, but I would still consider it…

While not playing the famous resort course.  They are playing 3 very highly rated courses, one of which is Pine Needles host of last years US Women's Open.    

The schedule is as follows

• Saturday AM Playing Mid South Golf Club 1st Tee Time 7:45 AM
• Saturday PM Playing Pine Needles Tee Time start at 2:30
• Sunday AM Playing Talamore Golf Club First Time 8:27
