Congratulations testers!  I look forward to the results of this one. I'm not a big fan of the look of the putter but the lie angle balance aspect has me very curious as to how well it actually performs.

Talk about a heavy hitting testers list! Congratulations everybody! Still can't wrap my head around the looks of any L.A.B. putter, but if it works, it works!

Is anyone using an armlock putter shaft? L.A.B. can put one in any of their putter heads and I love the feel of that Df head on the armlock shaft. Just don't love it enough to fork over $585.00 at my local PGA superstore to get one. 

I noticed DeChambeau used an armlock during the masters. I wonder if I look as uncomfortable as he did....

Don't get me wrong, I love my armlock (Cobra Agera). Moving to that putter last year from a traditional putter definitely transformed my putting stats such that my strokes gained compared to those around my handicap is pretty good. In fact of Tee shots, approach, short game and putting, it's the only area where I am gaining strokes on the field, but the broomstick approach intrigues me, as does the zero torque configuration. And the fact that it comes in a new smaller, less garish design while still looking like the original DF is just kinda cool.

 

I'm going to write about it in my intro, but I had a similarly successful transition from normal putting to armlock putting (Sub70 AL-6)! I don't believe the broomstick or armlock versions are available for our forum testing, but I'm excited to give the L.A.B. style of putting a try!

Congratulations to the testers, it had to be incredibly difficult to get down to 6 but it seems to be off to a good start already. I look forward to reading all about these actual first hand experiences with the DF 3!

My initial testing with the Agera Armlock was meh... But I didn't give up. I realized I just couldn't get the line while over the ball so I took it to a fitter and had it bent 4 degrees more upright from the standard, and it was like a lightswitch. My improvement was close to 4 putts less per round over a couple month period.

When I was writing my intro, I wished I would've had this putter for the eclipse on 4/8. I totally would've looked at the eclipse stages through the shadow of the DF3!

That is wild! My improvement was also 4 putts per round! 38.7 putts per 18 holes vs 34.1 putts per 18!

Really? I think the Mezz looks pretty ‘normal’ it’s just the offset shaft that looks ‘odd’

Intro will be up shortly, but I'm looking forward to having an interesting angle on this. My current putter was also an MGS review: the Edel EAS. Should be fascinating to compare two giants of the torque-balanced putting world.

The head shape is more normal for sure, could be the shaft. Haven't seen one in person so it's hard to judge based off of pictures. Of course if it's cutting off strokes it's hard to argue against adding one to the bag.

I think the LAB DF3 will be a smash hit!

I bought a LAB Mezz Broomstick and my wife got a Mezz 34" and we both love them!

The LAB staff is great to work with too.

Two years in, my 2.1 is still kicking ass - THRILLED to see what this group experiences with the 3.0 (and yes, I'm a little jealous, but that's normal when a new kid is born into the family - the big bro gets a little jealous )

Congratulation guys! I just got the notification that my DF 2.1 broomstick is going into production. I'll be following to see how your experiences correspond to mine and maybe use some of your testing methods. also interested to see how shot scope stats compare to last year. Have fun!
