I had one of the cleanest rounds I have had in a long while.  I wish the putting would have been on today.  Could have been a super low round.

I like the 7-PW.  The longer irons are not forgiving and the Srixons out perform.

Starting to get into the grove, getting better with the Takomo's driver has been good and putting has been off the chart, no 3 putts in the past 36 hole.

Guessing about another 2 rounds and I'll be back to last years consistency.

@GolfSpy_BEN are we still adding longest drive and birdies? I'm not seeing the option to enter the information when submitting a score.

Once the developer adds it back into the submission form, we will be highlighting the best from each flight, but for now you can add it when you post your score but I’m not keeping tabs

Managed to chip in for birdie, make a 40+ footer for birdie, and hit driver 7-iron into the 520y par 5 18th to 13 feet  tap in birdie.

Today was the final round of a tournament with @William P  We had a practice round Tuesday and Round 1 yesterday, and if I had pick a word to describe the first 2 rounds it would be “embarrassing.” I made some good shots but way too many dropped shots and the putting was not up to my standards. 

I was prepared to make major changes for today and was doing so on the range, but early on I abandoned that and set up an inch further from the ball, and it was like flipping a switch. Because of the tournament rules, I had to play from tees where there were 4 holes I can’t reach in regulation including a par 5 that I can’t carry across the lake. Even with the penalty stroke I got up and down for pars on those holes. 

Sadly, if my partner would have had some help yesterday, we could have won more money, however, we did come in second in the Calcutta good for $1020, and we got half of that. So we got our entry fee back. 

I said in the TPT Shaft thread that it was TPT vs the world. Well, I can’t say that anyone was asking about where we got the shafts that were tearing up the course. However, the LAB Golf putter did generate some conversations today. I made some mediocre drives, decent long shots, a few great wedges, a couple of GREAT recovery shots, and A LOT of outstanding putts. 

We are now planning on teaming up again later this year for the member guest. Might as well, we are playing on house money now.

Had a pretty good day on the course, especially with driver. Had a few wayward shots and struggled a little on partial wedges. Almost made it the entire round without losing a ball then pushed on right into some high grass on 18.

Swing was off all day and couldn’t make a putt when it counted. Could have been a sub 70 round but got lucky to walk away with a 76 instead. Time to get in some serious practice this week. Course Rating = 69.9 Slope = 120

this was the tale of two 9’s for sure.  The round started with a scramble for par, a lipped out birdie on 2 and from there it went down hill.  2 bogeys, a triple (easiest hole on the front), another bogey, par, double, bogey.  +8 on the front.  The back nine found my rhythm, birdie on 10, I was back to even by 16 and bogies 18 for a 1 over back 9.  +9, 81 for the day.

Today was the third round for me at this course this past week, and by far, the worst for pace of play and scoring.

More due to course overbooking, as I had a 10:30AM tee time, yet did not tee off until just past 11:00AM. 

Extremely slow play by a couple groups ahead of ours, and also pushed by a group behind us, who later in the round decided they would confront and potentially start an altercation with a group of younger men playing their first round of the season. I called the clubhouse to let them know what was happening, and the owner came out and settled down the group behind me.

A lot of shots were just to keep pace of play moving, so GIR's were not relevant today, always can use short game practice too.

Played the blue tees, again just to keep my pace of play at a respectable clip without any fear of hitting into the group ahead.

To overcome all those obstacles and still shoot an 84 is impressive.. That would've rattled me..I have shot in the 80s many times but I have to set my pace and rhythm.. Not near good enough to do it when I'm thrown off by things like this! Great job!!

Played really well, driving couldn't have been better, had to scramble a few times and putting saved me. again no 3 putts. Loving my Odyssey AI#1 CH putter.

Course was in great condition, wet in a few spots but very nice.
