It’s different than last year. The back weight is set different. Going to hit it tomorrow. If I don’t like the shaft I am going to take the Hrzdus Smoke yellow out of my other one and insert it.

You’ll have to let me know how you like the shaft. I was a big fan of the hzdrus black but haven’t hit the Denali yet

@Javs also interested in this shaft test. I have the HZRDUS Black in my BRNR Mini and love it, but have had the RDX Smoke Blue in my Radspeed and now LTDx driver and love that thing! But definitely interested in how the Denali performs for you compared the the yellow

I’ll give an update. I use the smoke yellow usually in my driver and 3 wood and the smoke black in my hybrids.

I’m a Titleist guy through and through, but I picked up a Smoke Ai Max driver and was instantly drawn to it.  It’s been a pleasant surprise … so far … the best Callaway driver of the past several years IMO.  The Triple Diamond is a grown man’s club … too much club for this old coot!!

Latest update on my quest to learn left handed alongside the (almost) 3 year old: Picked up a set of the smallest LH Tour Edge clubs for his 3rd birthday later this month - still bitter we can't use hand me downs, but that just means I get to buy more clubs!

And then for me, filled out "enough" of the bag to learn, and kept it to very reasonable prices:

From GlobalGolf, this Cobra driver that was advertised as "excellent used" but came still shrink wrapped with original stickers (looks like it was hit a few times with the plastic still on it, but not enough to mark the club):

Then grabbed a new demo iron from Tour Edge for $52 shipped - but as I was writing this, realized they sent the wrong one (following up, but this one will probably still do the trick - it was supposed to be the C, not the E iron wood):

 

And, I don't think I posted this back when I got it, but picked up a putter for dirt cheap off of Callaway PreOwned:

Very cool  for the little one! and also very interesting that you are working towards hitting lefty clubs. I hope you make a topic about this journey you are taking on! Ive putted lefty and righty (mostly righty) and have not really tried to hit any clubs lefty.

Yea it's just a little experiment to do alongside the kid, not actually converting or anything -- kinda like those old videos of Phil swinging right handed. Spent slightly more than I wanted on the driver, but compared to the age/condition I could get for $40 less, it was hard to pass up.

There's a golf show in town this weekend.  Met up with a few guys and wandered around.  Snagged a dozen Chromesoft X LS (yellow of course) for $39, a dozen Wilson Staff (yellow again) for $20 and after many years of thinking about it but not acting, a new pair of Ecco M Biom G5 shoes for $119.  I'm happy all around.

Here’s what I bought today! 
had to upgrade the Apple Watch because the old one would only last half a round. Had to get the deal on the balls. I’m a Chrome Tour X fan after my testing and review.

So the Project X Denali shaft was ok. I hit it consistently straight or with a slight fade. The distance was fine at around 275 carry. However, when I switched to the Hzrdus smoke yellow shaft, then I hit bombs. Several with over 300 yard carry. Dispersion on both shafts were similar. The big takeaway I couldn’t turn the Denali shaft over without real effort. I can shape the yellow at ease. The new Paradym TD is awesome especially with the yellow shaft. I think I prefer the counter balance feel.

I’ve only hit the hzdrus yellow in fittings and liked the feel. Currently game the riptide cb in my 3 and 5 woods and find them really smooth.  Just looked and found some at 2nd swing with the pxg adapter so might grab one just to do a side by side comparison

I love the yellow shaft. Play it in the driver and 3 wood
