Kid can fly! If he could keep weight on, he’d be a yearly starter in the NFL! Such a good kid. I’d have loved to see them run Homer a lot more against the Packers; I think he could’ve given them the spark to pull off the upset. Brady would not have survived the 70's early 80's football era.... never! The rules of today favor the QB. Back then, QB's were football players, just like all the rest on the team. They got hit; hard! The rule was to ring the QB's bell....... often! Brady would have a career of 3 years back then. The guys I listed were/are tough football players. Big Ben being one of the toughest sum bitches I have ever seen on a football field.... and I'm definitely NOT a Steelers fan! Again.... I take nothing away from the Pats or Brady's accomplishments, I just don't put Brady among the best QB's of all time.... well, at least not the GOAT. I know the kind of football that you like, S&B, and I understand the way that you're thinking. Remember, though, that Tom Brady is 6'4" and 225 lbs. (Except for Big Ben, he's bigger than all of the guys you've mentioned.) He's been flung to the ground by 300 lb. NFL pass rushers for twenty years. Except for the season ending knee injury in 2008 and then the ridiculous "deflate gate" four game suspension, he's never missed a game. Not one game. Don't let his pretty face fool you. He's no China doll. Perhaps you fetishize old time football because you enjoyed it so much, but none of those old teams are remotely as big and physical as today's teams. The rules then allowed a much rougher game, absolutely. I don't disagree with that at all. It would be foolish to argue that point. But the players weren't a physical match for today's players. Evolution doesn't work that way. Edited January 14, 2020 by NiftyNiblick

Mr. 82 3,858
The Giants over the Bills in Super Bowl 25 The Giants over the Patriots in Super Bowl 42. Two of the biggest upsets in Super Bowl history, and both won by teams with their defenses. I'm actually shocked that the Chiefs are favored in this game, because San Francisco is just going to run all over them, and hold the ball for like 40 minutes or more, and Mahomes will spend most of the game on his rear end. Doesn't matter how fast his receivers are if he never sees them all day long. Frankly I don't even see this game as close. Niners 31, Chiefs 10.
